its raining everyone, has Frank Turner showed up early in Cumbria?!!!

Forecast was always for rain this morning, brighter later with some sun & wind. Hopefully be ok. Still be damp underfoot Thursday, but hopefully not enough to churn to the thick muddy stuff.

Coming live and direct from the centre of the universe also known as the deer park ............. I can confirm it's raining! Not bad but rainy

Was always forecast to rain today up there...looks like it should have all but gone after lunchtime though.

Not looking great is it. Wellies and North Face waterproof jacket the order of the weekend I'm thinking. I did Glastonbury last year so surely can't be as bad as that? This year we got lucky and it was glorious.

Hope it dries up for you sir.

Maybe take a walk to the site through the woods tonight when you are relatively sober :-)

Try and lay down some markers and get your bearings for the weekend adventures when your walking back after a couple of light ales.

Quiet night with a DVD tonight in the van ?

Can I suggest the Blairwitch Project.

Ma Mate's been on set tonight & ground's holding up. But obviously yet to have thousands walking on it.

As we say in these parts... 'It'll Be Reet!'

That's good to hear. All updates on ground under foot conditions much appreciated :-)

Great sentiment to have:clapping:

Someone said this on TalkSport earlier in the week that kind of rings true for KC...

"There's no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing"

    • The Radio Dept.?! That's a surprise to me, they haven't toured in like 8 years. Hopefully they will announce some more shows.
    • I was assuming September in Stirling might have a different issue tbf in the form of it just pissing it down.
    • Yeah so many of mine seem to be just France v Spain in one semi and England/Brazil v Argentina in the other. But the fact those combos are the obvious ones mean it feels unlikely that'll happen because in World Cup history, you very rarely end up with what pre-tournament looks like the obvious final 4. We all see teams outperform and underperform. Which one is the fall guy is a different matter.   I've said elsewhere that for me, there's a hierarchy of Spain, France and Argentina as the 3 strongest looking, then England and Portugal, then Brazil and Germany, but that overall, they'd be the 7 likeliest to win. So I dunno, maybe this will be the time the Netherlands avenge the failure of total football in 1974 and achieve what they couldn't achieve through whatever the f**k Nigel de Jong was with his 2010 final karate moves.
    • Oh I think Infantino should resign. His handling of the whole WC process has been an utter shitshow. But you know. That would require him having integrity or something.
    • Good Charlotte would be fine third down or subbing. If they can get a bigger sub and still get GC, they’ll play third down.
