You kinda like the fire, huh? :)

would be strange, a person on fire behind a pc :)

but no :)

just put the pieces together, werchter or pkp would not have annouced like this, this was more a club69 thing, like they have done in the past :)

Sold out 7 nights at brixton, can't remember a band playing brixton on a tour so much.

Better than playing a couple of nights in a London arena, although they seem to be playing an arena in Wales. Would be interesting how there sound went in a arena though.

It's a record run

It looks like I might be struggling to fund a Rock Werchter ticket/camping at the end of this month, does anyone know when it usually/does sell out, I'm guessing the line up dictates it?

Can anyone who's been before clarify the 'coupons' on the website please, there's no mention of whether these are compulsory or not, I'm presuming they are and there's no cash transactions on the site for food/drink?

Some times Feb/March sometimes much later, like you said depends on lineup. I thought it would of sold out already, perhaps people are just waiting to see how top heavy the lineup is this year.

There are booths you can exchange cash for vouchers.

Great thank you, I may have to shuffle some things about then and get a ticket sooner.

Rock Werchter always warns when combi-or day-tickets are almost sold out. Usually when they do, you'd beter not wait any langer to purchase your ticket because it's likely that day will sell out in a couple of days (worst case) or weeks. You don't need to buy drink-/Food-vouchers in advance, but it's cheaper if you do. 2,5€ for one coupon if you buy them in advance. 2,75€ if you buy them at the festival with your bankcard, and 3€ if you pay cash at the festival.

Great thanks, I'll be sure to keep an eye out, ideally I can hold off until Feb 25th but if not I'll bite the bullet before, presumably there's no instalment schemes available?

I'm sure we'll end up sorting them out beforehand then, either way we have to use them so makes sense to get the best value for money!

How great it would be to have the original Smashing Pumpkins at Rock Werchter....!

Sounds a bit sketchy in that article Gossard, seems like there only at the talking stage and no mention of other members.

Perhaps next year they will do a festival or 2. One of the bands I adored back in the day so would love it of they toured soon.

At the insanely large risk of getting roasted for asking ... now that we have more than the usual quota of 'rock' bands what are the likely native belgian/European smaller bands likely to be announced ... also what poppy/dance acts are likely to be there ... I wouldn't mind Zara Larsson or Mo. .. thoughts?

Usually Klub C is more pop/dance oriented and there's the possibility of some dance closing act in the mainstage.

Looking at 2016 lineup there was some djs and pop act like Paul Kalkbrenner, Jamie XX, Lost Frequencies, Disclosure, Macklemore and few others.

concerning belgian bands I remember last year SX that were brilliant, Lost Frequencies, Goose and maybe some small bands that I didn't know.

Generally RW is more international than other belgian festivals eg Pukkelpop that does an announcement only for belgian bands (as I remember).

Belgian certainties: Bazart, Warhaus, Soulwax (if the rumour about refusing to play Werchter is false)

Belgian possibilities: Oscar & The Wolf, Netsky, The Sore Losers, J Bernardt, Coely, Triggerfinger, Tsar B, Compact Disk Dummies, Woodie Smalls, STUFF., ...

The Belgian share of the lineup is indeed rather small, taking up only about 10% (or less) of the total lineup. But this year's possibilities could take up quite high spots though. Bazart is capable of headlining the Barn, Soulwax would definitely be a KluB C closer, Netsky is closing Thursday Main Stage if appearing, ...

Mø is pretty likely to make up for the cancelled performance last year. Some possible Belgian bands/acts off the top of my head: Netsky, Oscar & The Wolf, Bazart, Warhaus, The Sore Losers, Compact Disk Dummies, Coely, J. Bernardt.

Agree rw mo but foos took 2 years to come back so maybe it's thir policy to not rebook cancelled acts immediately... if netsky wasn't there last year he must be a def but I have limited knowledge of his music ... Oscars and the Wolf was there in 2015 isn't that too soon to have back again?
