Also....when you said you bet I've got one of those cd folders from Woolworths...I haven't got the plastic stand thing...but I've still got one of those cd folders in my car with a shit load of albums in! One of my mates was ripping me for it the other day! Had no idea they weren't cool anymore, I love it!

I too have such hi tec accessories, though be warned they tend to scratch the discs!

I bet there's a hipster somewhere who has paid a fortune for a tape player to be fitted in to their car!

I have a selection of tunes off it in my monster playlist but have never owned the album! I'd genuinely love to see them get back together and play Glasto!

That was the beauty of 2003- radiohead and rem headlining- a dramatic come true for those 1990s folk! ;)

It's happening.

This is really happening, and I don't have tickets. I am going to be trying so hard in the resales.

Me too- I hope you are successful (after I have been successful) ;)  are you gambling and refusing to buy tour tickets or are you hedging your bets and going for both?

Definitely will buy tour tickets if there's a date I can get to. Glastonbury tickets would then be a very big cherry on top of the cake.

Hmm, I can't decide - if I get glastonbury tickets then having already seen them a few weeks earlier will slightly diminish the excitement, however if I miss out in the resale then I will be left feeling like a fool for not getting tour tickets as a consolation prize.

When does the resale take place, i.e. Date/time? Thankfully got my tickets for next year, but this talk of free cider has me (if I can be free) wanting to try and help someone get tickets.

all joking aside, if the date/time of the resale doesn't clash with me working I'm more than happy to try and help.

It'll be mid-late April, with a coach sale on a Thursday at 6pm and general sale the following Sunday at 9am. That much is assumed.

Not sure when the tour dates are going to be announced and how many but they're gonna be doing a date at Manchester Arena next year

Great stuff. Even with the imminent Glasto reveal that's enough to get me in. Surprised that it's coming after their festival announcement but roll on easier tickets.

(Psych... It's gonna be harder.)

    • Audrey Hobert getting a lot of traction lately and new single on Friday. Wonder if she could be round next summer.
    • Think Pulp are optimistic, not in terms of size but just that they've been on the road (albeit not intensively) for 3 years in a row and it feels like EotR is the deliberate end of the cycle.   Would be fairly surprised if they're active next year.
    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
