Best Cuppa at Glastonbury?

I have a serious caffeine addiction and am needing some advice on anywhere that does a decent cup of coffee? The best one I have so far is at the square crumpet place and it was alright, but I'm looking some real gourmet ****, any advice?

And after a night of raving and seeing sunrise at the stone circle, there's nothing better than getting a cuppa and some cake from that groovy cafe at the top of Pennards on the way back to the tent.

Yep. Definitely tea. In that vein, I'll answer: the best tea is available from the Tea Ladies, who tend to be hovering around the theatre and circus fields with their mighty urn and splendid line in tea-obsessed English eccentricity. Well worth finding. 

Coffee? I have no idea. It tastes of brown bitterness and headaches. Horrible!

I like to stop in at the 50p tea tent for a cup of instant coffee, because I like cheap and bitter dark liquids.  I'm no coffee connoisseur, I'm common.  Lovely stuff.

I guess your camping? You could still take a stove and a Moka pot and make your own, it'll be better than anything bought onsite!!

Usually those breakfast bars with the Chinese stalls attached do a cracking tea. The rest of the stuff they serve is dire mind. Worst full English going.

Quite a few espresso places about last year. My favourite is the espresso and sauna horsebox on the left as you come out of the unfairground

There was a really nice Coffee place where the John Peel used to be, opposite the cash machine vans before you cross over the road. It always has a massive queue though but it's worth the wait.

I think there used to be an afternoon tea stall somewhere, not sure if it's still there?

There was a decent coffee stall next to the chinese/English breakfast tent in Dairy. It's just after the diagonal path through the park and after the hedge in dairy ground.. if that makes any sense at all. We camped near it in 2013 and it was awesome!

The tiny tea tent on the way up to the stone circle. You pay a deposit. Nice seating area to relax and cakes

Proper cream tea near to west holts and tiny tea tent and that lobster place and no bones jones....I think

The WI tent does really good tea (in china cups too IIRC) and fantastic cake. The type made with eggs and flour.

Camp stove, kettle & aeropress for me - for the 1st coffee of the day at least! 

Defo going to look out for some of those suggestions when out & about though...

An aeropress is a great bit of kit, but what a faff taking along if you're camping!!

last year in our motorhome I had our Moka stove top AND I lugged along my Delonghi bean to cup machine. You can proper spoil yourself when you've got the space!

Like any city, the festival has more f**king 'gourmet' coffee establishments than you shake a stick at. Laptop and going sockless are optional.

You are right. Compared to five years ago there's a lot more available and being consumed. A sign of the times for the festival I'm afraid.

But I bet a lot of them advertise great coffee but deliver shite. 

Personally I'm bothered about a decent coffee first thing in the morning but then it's the last stimulant I'm reaching for after that.
