I bought this in homage to the great man, I ordered an XL but when It came, I tried it on it was skin tight. (I didn't realise it said 'made to fit' ) I'm not exactly muscley so it makes me look like I have a set of tits. They didn't do any other larger size so I kept it anyway for when I lose the beer belly. Might wear it underneath another top and get my moobs out during his screening. My other tees are generic summery ones.

I rather like that one. Is he planning on coming back to help resurrect the Top Gear team, do you think?

In a move that may or may not be pleasing to Ben, I subscribe to the rule that a band t-shirt should not be worn on their day, however I do aim to wear a t-shirt with a connection to a band on that day.  So previously, the t-shirt you see in my avatar was worn on the Thurston Moore day at Latitude last year, and LCD Soundsystem t-shirt was worn to Hot Chip on WH last year. This year, for Grimes, I'll be wearing this;

The Wicked + The Divine is a comic series which she drew a cover for, my original plan was to wear it to her day at Latitude, but then the creators of said comic were announced for the literary tent there.

T-shirt planning, serious business, start far in advance.

I am 100% in support of this approach, scruffy, even to the degree of awarding extra points for tap-of-the-nose hipsterism.

I am currently struggling with my own rule, as I am drawn inexorably towards wearing my pyramid-shaped Plaid t-shirt on Plaid day. I'm deceiving myself by suggesting that since Plaid are, in fact, playing at 0015h on Monday it's OK!!

In my search for a Bowie tshirt to wear as my own (pathetic) tribute, I came across this.  A nod to Labrynth, yes, but it's actually a homage to the long drops.  It will be worn!

I like the contrast of print design on background colour, and the text font.

You may wear this, my young apprentice.

If you call me scruffy again, I may have to seek you out during Sigur Ros and wring you out.

Bugger me backwards. Sincerest apologies, Lawn.

No excuse proffered.

*hangs head in shame*

Thank you, master, I will now wear it with pride.  So as not to break The Rule of Ben, I will ensure that only compost loos are utilised. ;)

To be mistaken for a Yorkshireman? Never have I suffered such an indignation.

@bennyhana22 I plan to wear my Finding Dory t-shirt to the Pilton Palais on Sunday. As it's a film not a band is this acceptable under the rules?

Mind you don't lose it

    • Tbf that happened to me in 2022 so not a one off. 40 euros to drive down 3 streets. I'd have done a runner but the reason for getting the taxi in the first place is cos I couldn't walk no more.
    • I was fully prepared (waterproof jacket, extra pair of socks, foldable umbrella), but after four hours in the rain (from Geese through Oklou to Florence Road), it was just too much. Already at the hotel, let's hope tomorrow's better.
    • It’s rare that I watch question time, but I almost felt sorry for Kenyon, he seemed like a guy just brought off the street which effectively is what he was, made worse by the fact Burnham and the Tory guy were very strong debaters. I think Burnham was very aware not to go too hard on Kenyon and risk him getting sympathy, in fact he pretty much ignored him.
    • Shambles. Transport and comms garbage. Been looking forward to this since last June and have never been to a more disorganised festival in 30+ years.  Why we were told the whole festival was cancelled for the night if they had put back shows for a few hours?  Pissed off to say the very least and put a huge downer on the rest of the weekend.
    • Rotten communication. Actually god awful. Posting sporadically on IG, closing Mordor only to reopen and cause some serious carnage. Left the festival as it got too much for my 16year old daughter. She was devastated about Alex G and Mac…but TV girl could have saved it. Took us until 1220 and already home to find out they might/are playing. Pish.    and on another note, this festival has lost its bastard soul. Gone are the wee tents with local sellers selling vinyl, t shirts etc, now you can buy a 50 f**king eur official T-shirt. The ar*e is truely out of this event now. I went to Porto for the first time last year and it was fab. I love Barcelona and the line up is always stacked, but this festival is a corporate loss take. Hopefully a better day tomorrow.
