Band t-shirts that always get an airing at Glasto tend to be Dry The River, Beach Boys and Marvin Gaye as standard. One of my many 'Funk' related t-shirts will also normally make an appearance too, usually to coincide with one of the many Funk and soul legends that we have been graced with over the past few years.

I also subscribe to the rule that a band t-shirt should never be worn the day they are playing.

That's because you are one of the beautiful people and welcome peace in the Universe.

I've got Undertones/Teenage Kicks, the red retro Glastonbury effort, Unknown Pleasures and a Bowie one packed so far, waiting on another two being delivered.

I don't have a onesie but I do have a Star Wars Adidas hoodie packed.

Where do you stand on wearing Joy Division T Shirts on New Order day? Is it a bit of a grey area?

Disclaimer - I am not bringing either

what stage is Scoopy Scoopy Dog Dog on?  sounds like my sort of thing.

I am hopeful she will be on the big poster. Not confirmed as of yet.

There's something rather nice about that idea, and I see no issue with it. Extra marks would be given for a proper vintage JD shirt, adding to the 'I've been in it since the early days' credibility.

Yeah, nice.

You'll (not) look good in that (as you're not bringing either).

I take six of whichever tshirts of mine are clean when I pack. On each day, I wear whichever of those i lay my hands on first. If that coincides with the day said band is also playing, so be it. It matters not one jot. The universe will not implode*

The idea of having so little thought given to the planning of festival t-shirt wear is making me feel physically unwell.

True story.

Fuzzy, I wouldn't buy something with a link that short on principle. ;-)

I would hazard a guess that there are no authentic Joy Division t shirts from the time (Don't hold me to that as it is just a guess)

I do have a Peter Hook and The Light one though. Will leave that at home as it could cause some animosity.

If I could find a decent Black Grape (It's Great) one, then I would take that. I have two Black Grape ones. One will never fit me again and the other has a big tear in the back. For sentimental reasons, I can't bring myself to bin it.

I shall be packing these two bad boys, along with a 'Pele' T (the Liverpool band, not the footballer), a 'Los Pollos Hermanos' in yellow, and my 'On a mission from God' Blues Brothers number.

I shall be quite the dandy.

Onesie's are never suitable, Woffy. Soz.

Oh most definitely. Hideous inventions.

They are functional though. All terrain badboys.
