On the plus side, nearly 25% of the bill is female, that aint too bad

But then they have, presumably, passed on the idea of Paramore or Flo playing. Both more viable headliners than everyone they got this year apart from Kendrick.

Does anyone going to R&L actually care about KOL? I literally have no idea how they're relevant at all anymore

Last album was OK. I think the first 2 singles did alright commercially but nothing special.

But by all accounts they're not good live.

Exactly, way more goes into this than people think. It’s been established that Kendrick can only do the Saturday Reading slot. Maybe that’s also true of Panic.

Perhaps, yeah. But it goes to show that the boundaries between 'outright headliner' and 'coheadliner' aren't really what people think and it's more of what an act is willing to accept rather than how big they are.

Another thought, perhaps Sunday main stage is KoL, Courteeners, Skepta, The Wombats. Then NME headliner being J Hus. I can't see them putting Skepta in the tent against KoL.

That's a great shout. I'm gonna update my prediction on the other thread.

For the most part no but people will know there hits I'd imagine. Similar booking to Kasabian really.

FALL OUT BOY JUST TWEETED A LINEUP WITH TRAVIS SCOTT INSTEAD OF POST MALONE

Travis probably dipped out after having his kid. No reason why they'd change it last minute to hold him back and bump Post Malone up in font size

My source only got the info that Travis was playing on Sunday. Can't see why he'd pull out of R/L and not the other European festivals he's playing beforehand.

Saw a reply about 'metal heads' going to download, what about the people interested in indie rock etc? You really reckon 250 quid to go and watch courteeners as the biggest band of that genre on that lineup is worth it? Give over and stop suggesting that people who are disappointed in this lineup are just metal lovers.

    • The first half of that game was cracking but then I fell asleep at half time. Maybe that's just the momentum of things.

    • A win is a win but it was a very poor game with only 4 shots on target in the whole game. Scotland obviously handed a massive bonus with Brazil and Morocco drawing but I don't think either of them will be too worried.
