Hmmm.. they maybe aren't the best band to see if you aren't too familiar with their work. Oh well, the lights were a nice touch.

Saw them for the first time on Sunday in Manchester. Definitely a band where it helps to be familiar with their work, was a terrific show. The songs off Wide Awake are brilliant live, would be great in a decent John Peel or Park slot if they're booked.

They strike me a tough “midweek gig” band.

Absolutely immense last night in Bristol. I expected them to sound a bit scratchy live, but was surprised that they sounded very tight. Wish I had seen them more on previous tours, especially the 1st album. That said the new album is great so was happy with a set list pretty heavy with that.

Yeah, very good in Bristol last night. Looking forward to a good spot in June. JP or the Park?

Park last time so I'm expecting them to be in the JP if they're there next year.

Very much looking forward to these at the Roundhouse tonight - even if it is a Monday. If you see someone in a 'Pavement Ist Rad' t-shirt, come and say hello!
