Thanks for all the replies! Interesting stuff. I was thinking of going to the bonfire/fireworks this year so I guess we could do that and then onto NYC Downlow! I ended up in some bar last year but I have no idea where it was... Interesting information, I know. Its a weirdly amazing feeling of 'I'm having a great night, I've got all of tomorrow to chill out and walk around the site, have a big night out again and then I'll wake up Friday morning thinking... Now it all really begins!'

Is the brothers bar in full swing on Wednesday? I'd like to go there and then up to the fireworks and then maybe linger around the park/stone circle area for a bit. I don't plan on doing too much on the wednesday but 600ug of acid, 5gs of shrooms and 50mg of 2cb should make the fireworks nice and pretty. I did a funny

2cB??? I remember 2ci from years ago. Is it similar stuff? You can keep the acid though.

I should stop posting on these forums after alcohol.

Yeah 2cb, I'm not 100% sure on what 2ci is but I know they're a similar compound. I think 2ci is more hallucinogenic than 2cb whereas 2cb is described as mdma meets LSD. I wait to be corrected though

I watched Mik Artistik in the Croissant Neuf field then wen to the Ridge and furrow till about 9pm.

Dropped at 9pm on the dot then don't remember anything until I came to in one of the car parks around 3am.

Wangled my way back in to the festival around 4am and got back to my tent at 5.

I'd done so much walking during my missing stint that my feet hurt all day Thursday :(

Our group do the 'top of the park field' thing every year.  We've been very lucky with the weather for the last few years!  We bring some port and cheeses and have a pretty chilled one... and then the rum gets opened...

2014 we ended up in the Unfairground, and 2015 we found some kind of large bar with a swinging wooden door like in western films which was playing old school hip hop and r&b.

Both years, I have ended up with a hangover on the Thurs.

Spike? The one in the trees ish.

I Had a look online about this last night, in my haze of a weekend i've pretty much walked past this a dozen times, I really need to try harder.

Is the entrance to this through the Glade where the disco ball is?

I think on the Wednesday our group is going to take it easy. Meet the neighbours, have a couple of drinks. Wander to the cider bar, then back to the tent to relax, chat and drink a tad more.

Wednesday are one of the best days, with friends I haven't sen since last year. so sit around catch up, Have a few drinks around the camp. Head off to find some food and see if anything is going on, and see where that takes us. Most of the day though is spent at the camp site.

Yeah, or you can get in from the railway track too.

In 2008 we hit the Brothers Bar quite early on the Wednesday and drank there for a few hours...

Ended up absolutely smashed and thought we had a great evening and got back early morning but our neighbor actually confirmed we came back at 7:30pm and passed out!

Hangover moment

    • Tell me more. Last Latitude we went to was '21 - my son was young & had a wagon so we snuck good beers in that way. I remember there being some Brooklyn IPA on sale which was tolerable - are you saying they don't sell anything other than Carlsberg now?! 😳
    • Tonight was a disgrace. There wasn't *that* much rain, and it wasn’t *that* windy. A festival of this size should be able to withstand some adverse weather without it bringing the whole circus to a standstill. And if it is true that part of a speaker on the Revolut stage fell…   As for the communication - announcing Massive Attack were playing at 12:30 and then nothing for over an hour while people waited in the rain. It’s laughable it really is.   If I said I’ll never come back again I’d be lying. The shambles of Barcelona 2022 and the disgrace of Madrid 2023 didn’t stop me, so this probably won’t either.   This festival gets so much wrong, but it is always saved by having such killer line-ups. It’s just a shame it treats the fans/customers/consumers like animals. Compare it to somewhere like Glastonbury and it’s worlds apart.
