There's a couple of threads here for people in exactly the same position.  Try this one for a start ...

Never been on my own but people seem to rate it highly.  Enjoy!

Thank you

Managed to get three tickets this year and my best mates husband doesn't want to go in a trio so looks like I might have to drop out, which I don't want to are there any others going alone ?

Your best mates husband is missing out then.  Sure you and your mate will have a top time :)

Or turn it around and make it a 50sum and tell everyone on here where you're camping- I'm sure he would love it. As the first wave falls asleep another wave would be (probably burning) and ready to take over the quest of keeping him occupied.

I went with my boyfriend and his best friend. It was fine! As long as everyone agrees to be flexible or is cool with alone time it's simple. Everyone just has to agree to not be too precious because your friend could feel torn being in the middle.

Totally agree I'm fine with them going off here and there but he thinks we will leave him, I just don't see why I should miss out, but never been before and I'm a little worried being in my own.

It's a shame about yer man's inadequacy, but that's no reason not to go on your tod and have a fantastic time - I think you'll find.

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
