She certainly wasn't highlight of festival. Patti Smith won that hands down.

I can't agree, I've been to the two shows and I think that they were both highlights of the festival, but in two different kind of music. Both made the crowd sing and jump on their hits (Gloria for the one + Say my name for the other one), both really well played. Two great shows but never won hands down by one of them.

Chances of sharing acts with Pinkpop? They have Lionel Richie on the Macca day along with All Time Low and Vintage Trouble

Edit: Nevermind, Richie has UK gigs that weekend.

Btw Lionel Richie is the coheadliner not shared by Pinkpop with RW ;) Problem solved.

All Time Low, Vintage Trouble, Bastille, Major Lazer, Skunk Anansie are indeed possibilities !

We had enough Bastille and Major Lazer lately,  haven't we?

Pinpop's lineup is boring as usual.

We already have electronic acts so Major Lazer is more likely for Pukkelpop, but Bastille had a great success in 2014, so it would not be surprising

EDIT : Major Lazer is even not an option because there won't be any electronic act after Rammstein.

what about skunk anansie? do we have a chance?

Of course we have a chance ;) But Pukkelpop could get them instead of Werchter.

I've got a question; We have to celebrate 3 birthdays in my festival team. Usually I buy beer in the festival but I'd like to bring a carton of wine on the campsite this year. Is it allowed ?

Tbf, TW Classics announcement is amazing. Bruce Springsteen, Lana Del Rey, Lionel Richie, Simply Red, The Van Jets and CC Smugglers.

I couldn't think of a worse way to spend a day but each to their own.  Sure Bruce will keep a lot of people happy

You suggesting she'll be announced soon ?.  That would suit the poor line up perfectly

Not sure how you could call this lineup poor after seeing what Pinkpop is doing with the same headliners and for 200 euros for 2,5 days...

And ofcourse LDR won't play RW this year, neither won't she ever sub the festival.

I'm not going to pinkpop so I don't compare. I've bought tickets, flights and tipi and remain really disappointed with RW . You could compare RW at over 200 euros with NOS at half the price and say for double the money it's pretty poor

From the TW lineup, I think Bruce, LDR, Van Jets, CC Smugglers are all amazing bookings, and Lionel Richie would be good novelty value. Most disapointing thing about it is that it rules Lana Del Rey out for RW

Lionel Richie is a fantastic live performer !

TW Classic often shares some bands with RW

Does it? I didn't think it did.

Lana Del Rey is a Benelux exclusive for TW Classic.

Also, Puscifer and Yeasayer doing Belgian club shows mid-June. Makes them very unlikely.

1st part - hooray !!

2nd part (Puscifar part) - saw that, not happy about that. I SO wanted to see Maynard !
