Oscar and the Wolf as headliners is a joke though. They've been literally everywhere in the last 2 years, even doing free appearances, and no new album? Who is waiting for them? I knew they werd going to be cheap again. IMO missing out on Blur last year and now Muse is unforgivable. They were just a dead certain booking and I am truly gutted that they won't come.

Other than that I'm happy with the names, especially with Chem's and LCD although I think they should be closers and not headliners (especially the Chem's)

So much to digest.

Chase and Fucking Status are playing the Friday so will more than likely be on in the Dance Hall the same time as the Chems a la Deadmau5 and Disclosure to spread the crowd.

From what we've got so far (92 names!) Die Antwoord will close the main on the Thursday I reckon. I think there's still a sub to be added to that day

Friday could be M83, - NGHFB - The Chems

Saturday could be OATW - LCD and a Closer to come.

All in all, a very good start for me and more than enough to convince me to go (the chemical brothers alone would have done that tbh)

If we can get the likes of Haim and Hot Chip added then it could be the best line up in years.

LCD Soundsystem are headlining Saturday.

Muse isn't coming. They were supposed to play on Saturday an this day we have LCD Soundsystem and Oscar Ant The Wolf (confirmed as festival closing set)

Who will sub Rihanna? -> Bloc Party? EODM? Die Antwoord?

On friday, is Chemical Brothers + NGHFB the headline combo + Chase & Status closing the day?

The headliners (and undercard as well) are a lot better thans last years though. It's just that I rejected going to Muse yesterday in Paleis 12 (some tickets went back on sale) because I was certain they would play. Seems impossible now.

Also some other certain bookings like Jack Garratt and HAIM not there yet.

Die Antwoord, I assume. Neither of the other acts can carry a sub status.

And I'm guessing C&S is closing the Dance Hall during Chemical Brothers' set. Similar to the Deadmau5 - Disclosure clash in 2014.

Great first announcement, despite Muse not being there (which is no biggie for me but would have obviously raised the status of the line up). Do we know that The Chems are headlining Friday? When I read it on my phone the banner said 'first headliner' and then LCD underneath. The Chems were below that but the wording was singular.

Well happy with Nina Kraviz, Loco Dice, Tale of Us, George Fitzgerald, Job Jobse, Hazard, Sub Focus, Seth Troxler and Ame from the DJ contingent - very strong throughout!

Loads of new names to check out too, looking forward to starting my 'homework' tonight!!

So Chemical Brothers are actually headlining rather than closing dance act. Bit weak, considering that Deadmau5 and The Prodigy recently played after a (rather) big headliner.

Yeah, Chems followed by C&S on the Main. Did wonder whether C&S would be happy to play another stage after closing the Main a couple of years ago? Nice to see Soulwax there now too.

That's strange. Was definitely on their twitter feed, posted about an hour ago, but seems to have been removed now?

Yeah, looks like it's been removed. Other accounts have posted it, but guess it could be fake.

It goes a long way to explaining why Reading is so bad when that's the best Puckelpop could do. 6 at the max on the lineup I'd bother with.

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
