Good: watching Friendly Fires with a bag of Westons vintage & with my mates with the sun shining on The Other Stage in 2011. We were all dancing around like a bunch of tits near the back. Went through the whole three liter bag during their set which I had planned to last me the whole evening. Even went to one of the bars to get a few cold pints of cider.

Bad: projectile vomiting all over the Arc bar when it was down in the SE corner, mate bought me a shot of tequila (he told me it was sambuca) & I just erupted pretty much all the liquid in my body I had consumed that evening that I hadn't toileted out. Carried on drinking the cheap Spanish rose wine you get in cartons from Tesco. Decided enough was enough when I found myself in the fetal position sat in a portaloo.

Good : After the nightmare weather of 2007 (my first Glasto), I remember sitting near to the Brothers Bar on the Wednesday of 2008, in glorious sunshine, thinking that this was what it was all about. Was with a big group of mates and proceeded to get completely Gillespie'd on festival strength cider. Stumbled back to our camp and tripped over a guide rope and fell into (and destroyed) my mates flimsy excuse for a tent, much to the amusement of many of the folk around us.

Bad : Had an experience not too dis-similar to that of the OP. Took a bad pill and came up in the hideous queue for SE Corner. Decided I couldn't hack it and proceeded to walk back to our camp with my wife who was having a terrible time of it too. Remember being extremely paranoid and that everyone in the queue was looking at us. I then felt a wave of sickness and made it to the long drops to chuck my guts up. The smell of the toilets only adding to the pain I was in and making me more sick. Bad times.

The good - Wednesday 2013 - all day drinking and acid - led to a very messy evening in Block 9

The bad - Sunday 2010 - a weekend of overdoing it, not enough sleep and too much sun led to me being back in my tent before the headliners came on and had a massive panic attack in my tent, barely slept a wink - grim old tackle that.

The good:  Thursday afternoon 2011.  I was on crutches, the site was like the black lagoon at the time and we'd made it to the last patch of clean dry glass in Pilton above the park.  It was fucking blissful, we ate spacecakes, smoked blunts and drank REALLY noxious spirits.  When it came time for me to venture to the loos to pee I realised my legs were basically no longer something I had control over, the trip up and back down that hill was brilliant :)

The bad:  Sat night 2009.  Gillespied beyond all human recognition.  To this day I have a blackout of all memory between about 9pm and 3am, when I found myself stood outside my tent on Pennards, wondering how I'd got there, what had happened and why I was soaked from head to foot with the exception of my left shoulder.  The comedown the following day was like a descent into hell.

Good:

Lots of brilliant times.  Outside seeing stuff like Underworld, Chemical Brothers, Stevie Wonder for the first times just never gets tiring.

Bad:

Strange incident 2013 when I didn't eat all day after a mad night the day before.

Couldn't believe it as I inexplicably spent all day Sunday vomiting uncontrollably. I'm always the person telling people to eat something as well.

Really bad:

Can't remember the year, think 2009? but we were on M-Kat and also methylone(?) which was some kind of speedy substitute I think.

Who knows, but the state of us as we staggered around.  For a few hours I thought we were in real trouble but we calmed down in the end.  Fought to get to the front of Bloc Party after they'd started, and then we both just freaked out when we got there and then pushed our way all of the way back out again immediately.

You know how fucked you have to be to stand out on the Friday night around the dance area?  That was us, and then some.

Years back in the old Queens Head on the Thursday night I mistook a security guard for the dj  and was telling him what anthems he should be dropping to get the crowd going.

It wasn't long after that my Telegraph bag came in handy for all the wrong reasons as I chundered into it (accurately, I may add).

Ummm, I think you mean a Guardian bag, unless you took your own Telegraph one in :-)
