the strokes a rock n roll band? are you serious? as much personality as a wet fish those guys and there performances are that slow im surprised someone doesnt stick a parking ticket on the frontman.........not a patch on the foo fighters high energy show.

They're too cool to actually put any effort in to their live show.

The obvious answer is Flo - but has she got a long enough set?

But in fairness, if they thought Flo was a headliner, they could have made her one ages ago, before The Who were announced.

and if we`re talking straight up rock n roll bands please tell me who an earth would even come close to those legends already on the bill motorhead? lemmys photo should be under the description of `rock n roll` in the dictionary. yes they may not go down well as headliners but please dont demean the term rock n roll by seeming to put bores like the strokes alongside the masters?

Can someone change this record please?

well its fucking obvious isnt? we`re talking whos the most rock n roll on a bill when youve already got fucking motorhead playing? haha

Motorhead aren't Glasto headline material either, regardless of their rock pedigree.

QOTSA would be the ideal replacement... unlikely though

    • All you can say is...     If he couldn't convince nations that really would've benefitted from the short-term hit of an up-front £50mil payment by this time next year, what hope did he have?   Guess we'll now just have to monitor and see if this could derail Infantino's plans to be re-elected FIFA President next year.
    • Spider-Man: Brand New Day   Highlight was a bloke reacting to the post-credit scene by going "Holy f**k it's Tobey Maguire!" despite the scene having no reference to him at all. Which made my close-to-full screening of the film laugh a lot.   Film was pretty good. It was interesting as much as an exploration of the ramifications of the end of No Way Home and being about isolationism and male loneliness, which I thought it actually did quite well. Though I do ponder if I liked it as much as the other 3 Tom Holland Spider-Man movies. Sadie Sink was good tbf, while I also liked Jon Bernthal as Punisher, enough that I might go watch his Disney+ shows.   Seem to have had a Marvel kick recently having also watched Thunderbolts and Shang-Chi, both of which I thought were pretty good.
    • Wolf Alice won't get headliner for Reading either, they will sub if they play, that is where their level has stopped I feel. Both TFG and Skyvip for the big shows this year was just a stretch too far. Every headliner this year is bigger than them too I'd say.   Agree with Capaldi I don't think Yungblud will be at Reading. I would guess Bludfest 3 or Download.
    • If Dolly Parton could do it, I highly doubt it. Just not right for it.   This
