Scenes on this board this year!

A headliner announced despite having a gig in a different country that night and now a replacement headliner required with less than 9 days to go.

Blur seem the most obvious choice.

No idea if any of the following are already doing something next Friday, but all are potential possibilities:

Coldplay

Fleetwood Mac

Stone Roses

If all else fails it'll be Florence shifting up, which would essentially be losing a headliner. Don't think they can take the Kylie/Basement Jaxx route and move Rudimental across.

I hear old Buggy is being sworn in as headliner on a flight from East Midlands as we speak.

Jake Bugg doesn't fly, he rattles in on the unmistakable vintage VW camper, that could only be driven by Jake Bugg. He gets out his luggage, it's all old rock 'n' roll gear from the 60s, the sort of retro attire which could only be the original and not-at-all shit and derivative style of Jake Bugg. As he slips on a bit of mud, he emits an "oh bugger", in the unique mumble which is so often the delivery technique for Bugg's own delightful brand of authentic wit. Bugg pulls out his acoustic guitar, an instrument which is has become synonymous with the new and original genre that Bugg has crafted. Bugg plucks at the handful of chords that primary school children are first taught, with an expertise well beyond his 19 years, the crowd are literally bored stiff with rapture at this new and exciting kick up the arse for British rock.
