I get really excited showing first timers this, as I was beyond belief when I first saw it.

I'm still like that now, this year will be my 7th Glastonbury and I still can't get my head around what I'm seeing when it comes to Arcadia.

Thats 3 acts. I was speaking generally across the whole dance lineup not just about Arcadia. But from Arcadia alone i've definitely seen Redlight, Amy Becker, Hannah Wants, Groove Armada, Monki, Mele, Skream and Loefah elsewhere on the lineup at least once.

Yeah but lots of people will want to see these acts and they can't all go to the same places at the same times.

Acts appearing more than once has always been the way at Glasto and it means people can work around clashes.

It's common sense and offers some flexibility.

Certainly no reason for complaint

Fwoar!! This late night entertainment seems very very strong! Arcadia and Shangri-La are looking juicy!

I might even start to get worried about late night entertainment clashes at this rate but hey.

Hear comes the day by day preview:

Must admit that I don't really know much of that

Friday apart from Skream; despite all the hype on this thread for that night . I'm looking forward to listening to some Maceo Plex to join in with the hype.

Saturday is looking strong with Annie Mac as a huge name. I love a bit of Spor, very much an artist who I enjoyed when I was a DNB junkie.

Foreign Beggars and DC Breaks also appeal.

Sunday is looking very attractive especially to the wider crowd. Groove Armada I remebrr seeing on the JP stage a few years back and they were awesome. I'm sure the DJ set on Arcadia won't dissapoint. Hannah Wants and Redlight will appeal very much to the more 'overground' fan.

Adam Beyer is djing both days at Awakening festival in Amsterdam too, he wouldn't of come cheap.

Been waiting a long time for some proper techno on Arcadia, and this is it.

Altern8 and Groove Amarda pretty much make this the strongest Arcadia line up since it's SU corner days.

If I'm not being whisked off home straight after the final headliner on Sunday I may try and get up to see Redlight, had always been sceptical of them until Bestival in 2013, but they were absolutely brilliant so well worth a look if anyone happens to be strolling around that part of the site on Sunday.

But arcadia had some daytime stuff going on last year - is this just the post-11pm lineup?

No - 11pm every night is the Metamorphosis show I think. Looks like the Lords of Lightning wont be there any more

Its not completely clear from the poster though

Blown away by the Friday lineup, can't wait!

So many clashes during the night time shenanigans this year though.

I know! Usually there really hasn't been a predicament with clashes as regards to after band entertainment. but it seems like I might be clash-crunching until the early hours of the morning this year!

Looking forward to seeing Benton in the Swamp81 mob, he's a lad me and my mates knew growing up in Epsom, even rented a room in our my friends house share for a while. I knew he was doing quite well but hadn't really listened to his stuff as i had moved away, my best mate who still knows him said i should check his stuff out recently however and ive been really enjoying it. He started out doing dubstep but he seems to be spinning a fair bit of jungle these days.

I would link in some soundcloud stuff but im on my work PC so thats a no go from the powers that be :(

FYI Redlight is one man who used to be known as Clipz from DnB fame. The other guy is Mc Dread who is his tour Mc. His commercial stuff is dog shit but his underground sound is wicked and his sets are rammed full of exclusives. Highly recommend checking him out.

Yeh I get that and its good but I've never noticed it this much before. I like the idea of having the opportunity to see someone I've missed again but Skream is playing about 6 sets. Surely if you miss him 5 times your not that bothered in the first place.

Seth Troxler is a bit like that.

He must have played half a dozen times last year, and he's back for more multiple sets this time around.

As long as they're good I doubt many people will whinge!

Well the thing is there's such an extensive DJ lineup that it's probably not viable for EVERY lineup to be completely original. It'd just cost too much money. Also the lineups are booked independently by the stage. If Arcadia and Genosys both want to book Skream who's to say which should get him. It's only 3/4 days, and there's at least 10 decent sized late-night stages, it's not like you're gonna HAVE to see Skream more than once.

Yeh he's another one. I wonder how much less Djs charge for doing sets if they're already on site. Buy 2 slots get one free lol.

Skream gets on my tits a bit to be honest. I never really liked Dubstep anyway and now he's jumped on the house band wagon he seems to get loads of respect from the house elite, Why? because they're all mates? I'd much rather watch a Dusky solo set than a Dusky b2b Skream set where Skreams so fucked he's dribbling over the decks.

Haha, I don't know much about Skream to be honest so if he's playing 6 times, I'll miss him 6 times.

There's already far more dance/electronic acts that I know playing than I can possibly see, so decisions will have to be made.

There may be some argument in the group before the inevitable splitting up!
