I went for the Super Muesli opposite the Greenpeace field. You get a big bowl of fresh tropical fruit, oats, nuts and seeds, topped with various dried superfoods, yoghurt and milk.

It went surprisingly well with my first can of beer in the morning which I'd usually finished by the time I got there so I could order a tea to go with it. There is no better start to the day for me.

Related to breakfast.. where do you guys pick up decent fresh fruit from?

I woke up craving fruit almost every day in 2013 and went to that smoothie place in silver hayes, they sold freshly cooked waffles piled high with fruit, that and a watermelon smoothie (with a good slug of dark rum) sorted me out every morning. Only problem is its quite expensive, but I was campaigning in bushy so it was quite convenient me.

Fluffy Rock Cafe! Beans on toast, egg bap and a brew while waiting for the Greenpeace showers

Egg barm (bap, roll, etc) from Fluffy Rock is great, I'm a fan.

The Manic Organic breakfast is unbeatable.

Really want to try it this year, always looks like a big tasty platefull.

Don't underestimate cooking your own breakfast either. We've got a breakfast burrito of sorts - one pan cooking. Chop up a tin of spam, chop up a smapp tin of spuds, add a tin of mushrooms, warm up a bit, chuck in a small tin of beans and when they're warm sppon into a wrap - apply lashings of Tabasco sauce, lovely.

That tapas place with the flamenco dancer does a smashing brunch (don't rate their food usually but for breakfast it's great)

For fruit definitely greenpeace or there's a little stall (think it's run by the Christian church people), up by Home ground looking over the pyramid

Where is the tapas place located? Thanks.

Do they still sell Spam in this country? I've never even noticed that it existed anymore until I was in the Philippines the other year. They go crackers for it them lot.

That actually sounds quite a pleasant dish. Though I'd have went for rice instead of potatoes.

This sounds amazing (particularly the smoothie w/ dark rum)

As does this!

That's two added to my mental list

It's between William's Green and West Holts. There's a huge statue of a flamenco dancer outside so it's pretty easy to find - also next to it is lemonberry which does notoriously great lemonade.

The Manic Organic breakfast is unbeatable.

Amen to that

Also got a nice cheese toastie and beans around the Greenpeace bit too

I tend to stay away from them 24hr Breakfast / Chinese food joints, tends to be shitty food that's probably been sitting there for hours, and morbidly overpriced for a bit of dry bacon on some bread

Street sub aqua cafe right near the family camping lock up. Bit of a trek depending where you're camped but worth the visit IMO. Full English and a brew for £5-6. Only made it there once last year as was camped too far away. Year before we went every morning :)

I think through a combination of late starts & being too knackered to venture far at that time of the day breakfast generally was pretty dull last year, I do remember there being a place near Worthy Farm (Think it was close to that tent that you can paint your own banners/play music etc.) that did a superb 'breakfast in a box' which was very plentiful. Definitely will check out Manic Organic this year.
