Any one got any idea what the tall thing to the right of the Park stage is?

I think that it's probably another phone mast, they're really trying to up their game this year.

I suspect all the small 'phone masts' are part of the network infrastructure used by the festival, not neccesarily for the public to use. Point to point wifi/radio is easier to install than cables.

Having said that, I'm interested to see what the 'wifi coverage' EE say that are putting in will actually turn out to be. Last time is was a few access points by the recharge tents, but I wonder if they are planning on hanging repeaters around the site to ease traffic on the mobile network ? I guess we will have to wait and see :)

Fairly off-topic, but it is pleasing that unlike American sites, you rarely see someone on here making the mistake of saying "I could care less"

I've noticed this before and always wondered why people do it. It clearly makes no sense in the context in which it is used. Must be an American thing.

I often see other Americans going mad at them for getting it wrong. On the other hand, there are plenty of common English mistakes that I see on here that I rarely see on the tech sites I frequent!
