Hell of a lot of activity. I can see tractors, diggers, land rovers, a big lorry and what appears to be a mini crane attached to a van?

Also, another question - Will we see much of the JPT on the cam or is it mostly hidden?

You can see the top of it, these are form last year.

Nah.  The bit next to where the Cinemageddon thingy is going.  Imagine a straight line going up the webcam pic from the longdrops next to the pylon nearest the Pyramid.  Twas there.

Tonight's stumble around Worthy reveals Security on all gates now.

The Woodlands is looking wonderful - no spoilers but it's going to be a great chill out place away from the fearsome sun.

oh and the Spike stage is up completely

Not twoddle, interesting and informative :)

Thanks Jayballs and @macker. I think I'll just keep on posting odds and sods in here. Last year people didn't like spoilers so I'll keep them to a minimum.

todays early morning report.....a sprinkle of rain, just enough to wet a worms whistle but not the dust! The ground is still cracking ( in more ways than one).

Will report tonight after my run. My normal route is very busy with fence building so I'm having to make it up and run a wiggly route through the farm keeping outta people's way. The railway is still quiet at the moment.

I've loaded it a couple of times at night and it's been showing around sunset time - so it seems it does get turned off overnight.

    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
    • Dream Blink day    Blink - Turnstile - Neck Deep - The Story So Far
    • The vibe for Avalanches was spectacular, but i totally understand not wanting to wait in a queue for however long it was.   I had to miss Ethel Cain to queue. Bit annoying, but I had never seen the Avalanches before (either live or DJ set) and it was every bit as joyful as I hoped.   Great little stage, either way.
