It still annoys me that we can't move far enough round to see the West Holts Stage, surely this needs to be put right for next year.

I thought this was a privacy thing. I vaguely remember something about villagers' houses/gardens being in the way.

Ah you could be right, I know it was discussed last year but I've had a few sleeps since then!

The lawnmower is out...

Its probably a load of tosh, but I've heard they cut and spray silage on the grass differently in each of the fields for camping vs walking and front of stages to control the grass so its the right length come festival time to take the foot traffic.

    • I was hoping that they would just do a tour like they were set to in 2020, rather than having Download as their UK appearance. If they are at DL, I would be surprised to see them headline. I think they sub under Deftones or SOAD
    • well, we might know by the end of next month if they drop the lineup early again
    • I'm definitely not camping 🙂.  My 17 year old Daughter and her friends are there 3 days and commuting back to Sheffield each day as didn't want to camp .  I am taking and picking up the Saturday so thought I may as well get a ticket as love Fontaines DC - need to do a lot of research on the other acts though to fill my day.    I walked through the camp site other year the day Arctic Monkeys played and it was like a War Zone.  My Son has camped a couple of times but didn't fancy my Daughter staying over.
    • Not at all impressed with Polanski saying "noone should be barred from public life" wrt the Tory neo-nazi. I really don't think "no nazis in politics" should be an excessive standard.
