I'm going for afternoon tea with my girlfriend (it's her Birthday) the resale last year happened on her birthday while we were doing something, and I missed it... so you guys might wanna start getting excited. If my luck's anything to go by, it'll happen in the next hour or so...

Good on you for not being selfish and making her have tea in front of the computer. Have fun

so same goes for 4? lead gets the tickets regardless of if people live in different places?

yes, all got to lead booker - same is for the April resale.

then there's the additional stress of when tickets get delivered sending them on securely and hoping they don't get lost - i had to give explicit posting instructions as some tickets were for ooop north and some were in Somerset.

I have 2 pages open  on my phone- 1 main ticket page with tipi CV etc and the other preloaded ref details and postcode

just trying to set 2 other laptops up now with preloaded page and keep getting page not found?

If I press proceed on my phone I get that tickets not available message but not page not found...

I am not techy at all but I am stressed with this should I read into it???

I've tried to take a step back this year - I missed out last year as payment page wouldn't proceed on the secret sale and I didn't take it well!! However I'm just got back from work and sat at my laptop just waiting......feeling sick with anxiety.

And (I'm sure this has been done before) if I am buying for someone else, does that make my address the lead booker (meaning I have to enter it as well as my card details) or is he still the lead booker...?

Just trying for the one ticket and it isn't mine!

it will go to lead bookers address associated with the reg details you enter - you shouldn't have to enter your address even if you're using your own card to pay.

Just enter their reg details and then proceed to payment with your details. I'm doing the same and this is apparently ok.

Why are they selling off IoW festival tickets cheap then? Never been, but line up looks reasonable.

Never been to another festival apart from Glastonbury, assume they'd all be a bit of a let down really compared!

Theyve doen this a few times. Seems like the festival really struggles to sell tickets even with some huge names. Ive never been but heard it really lacks and soul or identity

    • You do get some weird swings here and there, so... Cypress Hill?
    • It was great, but I don't know why they continue to play Wide Lovely Eyes and Rings of Saturn, which are the weakest of the tracks off both PTSA and ST. Well, I do. It's cos they're about Suzie, so he can sing what he wants. They're the low points of the set. The rest is ace.
    • I didn't this time, but I've seen them before and just because you saw both that night doesn’t mean you can compare them. The Stones were great, but.you didn't think so and you went somewhere else looking for a good time and you found it. For whatever reason you didn't like it, but you were an outlier and all the reviews said they were great.
    • Annie Lennox could be the one to unite the whole forum, nobody has a bad word to say about her, even noted curmudgeon Skip 😄 I'd probably even amble along for a bit meself, and i'm also a miserable sod
    • If the below link works - thats interesting.   While I don't particularly put much stock in that account as a source (never seen it before though, tbf), and I can pick a hole or two (see below) in what he says - the timing of it is a week before I had the Fontaines '27 stadium info (same stadium he says on there, Tottenham). The info, or part of it, matches up.   Holes I'd pick: I'd have to watch again but I THINK he says 'end of year' for Tottenham - not possible, for a number of reasons, though he's probably just got his words mixed up there. It's Summer '27, or that's what I've been told. He also says Glastonbury is/would be based on how the album does. That doesn't stack up to me, unless it was a 2028 thing. I suppose that could stack up, i.e a verbal agreement for 2028, but still seems a bit of an odd approach. I would personally still expect it to be 2027 alongside the stadium gigs, IF they are gonna do it, though I've still not got a Scooby when the album is gonna drop, only that the tour is due for Spring (or early) next year.   Interesting, nonetheless.   https://www.instagram.com/reel/DaOB3Q9qkwW/
