I'm still thinking they'll do an arena tour at the end of the year.

Needs to happen, if this doesn't happen it'll be ages before I get to see them, reckon Damon's going to fire up Gorillaz again as soon as Blur are done - though I guess that's not a bad thing by any means.

Ah, when they said Wales I thought somewhere like Llandudno would be more likely than Cardiff or Newport for some strange reason.

The way that Damon moves from project to project these days I wouldn't be surprised to see it be all over by the summer. Maybe a few winter gigs at a stretch but then it will be all Gorillaz from there I'd imagine.

Shame really, would have liked to have seen them tour this album.

Disappointed no more London dates yet but good to see them playing these kinds of venues. Hmm. I really think I'll be at Hyde park one way or another I just don't want to pay for it! would love to know how sales are going. Anyone sold out BST yet? Taylor?

I reckon BST will panic soon and start offering 2 for 1 (or another one of the crazy tactics from last year) on the Blur day so I wouldn't worry too much.

I'll be there but unfortunately with a wallet that's £85 lighter

Llandudno is a coastal town in North Wales. It is an extremely nice place with and is only a few miles from Snowdonia. The venue is Venue Cymru and holds around 2000. It's a really good place to hold gigs. Loads of bands have played their over recent years and gets included in many touring dates now.

Same for me.

Should though get me well in the spirit for Worthy Farm. Anyone of the supports you keen to see?

Saw Drenge in Camden 2 weeks ago, full on riot than a gig. Epic stuff.

Definitely Drenge, they put on a good show. I love The Horrors but their sounds seems to get a bit lost on outdoor stages :(

I'll get listening to the lesser known acts soon!

I'm still vaguely clinging on to the hope of them playing The Magic Whip in full at Glasto. Dave was very specific saying they weren't headlining, as opposed to they weren't playing. Oh come on, I can dream, ha!

Unsure if health and safety would very happy about blur playing any where but the pyramid

People keep saying this, but I wouldn't get your hopes up. They're a definite headline band, so to him "we're not playing" and "we're not headlining" mean the same thing.

I think I'm going to try for Blackpool tickets rather than Barrowlands. Seen so many people say they're trying for Barrowlands and the venue is a bit smaller as well, so I think I'll try the safest bet. Barrowlands will probably be gone in one minute.

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
