I'm scared. Can it really be true? There might be a few showers at the arse end of the weekend, but are we really going to have good weather? It feels so strange after I was packing my dinghy only recently.

 

I won't believe it until I'm getting sunburnt in all the places I can't reach while sat on dry grass.

Friday 3pm. Only a drizzle of rain on the run for today. Lost a degree off the temperature compared to earlier.

if you're gonna have showers its the arse-end when you want them!  but yes, can it really be true?  

 

Word of caution, that big low between greenland and ireland is pretty strong and brutal, but my guess is that is far more likely to push to the colder north

Oh that's miles away. I'm sure Yorkshire would just love a heavy low like that so they can have it free of charge. Other cold, northern places can also have a piece.

Sunday 3pm. Pressure building again, rain NO LONGER on the radar for Sunday, temperatures a nudge higher than earlier run.

Yep, very good tonight. Rainfall looking minimal on that run too, about 1 or 2 mm from Weds - Mon, which is sweet feck all.

 

Don't wanna tempt fate, and these things change really quickly Just hoping for similar stuff tomorrow, certainly getting progressively better so far.
