As much as I like Biffy Clyro, I really think Reading need to pull a rabit out of the hat after the reception the Foals announcement received and the same band who headlined the Sunday night as recently as 2013, is not that rabbit.

Headliner difficulties? I wonder if R+L had booked the Foo Fighters before Dave broke his leg. And then after they cancelled Glastonbury, they reorganised to do it this year. So therefore they had to cancel playing R+L this year?

enter shikari have lied about this sort of thing in the past :') they're already announced to be on the festival circuit this summer so i reckon they're just waiting to get their tour out of the way.

but yeah warriors dance fest was the one, be very happy with that top 3.

Been too many times they could have played since last time and haven't, they will stick to returning to Download every 3/4 years. As they are writing a new album, next year at Download isn't out of the realms but I think it'll be another year more.

I agree and I hadn't realised they weren't doing any festivals. But the fact they're bringing out a new album, mixed with R&L's headliner problems, might've presented an opportunity for them to headline
