a massive pile of shite, aye. total disappointment of an album, if this is bringing grime back, it's off again soon

I agree, it was massively underwhelming. There's some incredibly cringey lyrics too, for example 'if you don't like it then fuck me, not literally, but fuck me'

I'd heard Shutdown, That's Not Me and Ladies Hit Squad before and yeah, I couldn't help but think they shouldn't really be on there. I now know It Ain't Safe is old and all I can remember about that is not liking it so yeah that could've been bunned too. Starts out like a rocket though.

Also I was expecting a track w/ KOHH from the title so I was disappointed by that, at least.

Brilliant. Priorities in full in Bedford on a Friday night. I'm 100% on for that.

Tidy! I'm just a bit gutted there's no Cardiff date, quick trip over to Bristol for me I think!

on Clashfinder people are predicting that the arena closes at 23:00 every night, has this been a thing for previous years? TITP usually closes at midnight with the exception of Sunday where they close at 23:00 and the recently introduced extended licence on the Saturday.

Which 'arena' are you talking about? See below for previous stage curfews.

23:30 curfew: Main stage, NME, Dance Stage, Lock Up/The Pit, Festival Republic (all other stages normally finish earlier)

03:00 curfew: Alternative Stage (introduced 2015)

Sorry I really meant the times that the last artist finishes

    • Muse new album out soon , European tour announcement for Nov and Dec, no Spanish date and north American tour starts in July and in North America for all of July and August. So primavera and Glastonbury
    • Well he is on a rape charge, don't see that one as controversial.    Although Hakimi is in Morocco squad.
    • Electric Callboy just said they'll be touring here next year. I'm not sure there's a poster for it though. I'll look when I'm near some next.      He said we'll see you at Download at a gig before any of the band. Presumably he was trolling. They're in Austria at the moment and Germany tomorrow with a week's break and more shows in Germany. Whilst not impossible to come back here and then go over there again, it seems unlikely.
    • Thomas Partey, knocked back by Canadian immigration now.
    • I'm sure someone can update you on the clashfinder, and it will be pretty accurate by the time the festival comes around. It's a large flat-ish arena with main stage in the open air, no best side I'd say. Leadmill (3rd stage medium tent) is at the back of the main arena, T'Other (2nd stage big tent) 5 min walk round the corner. At full capacity walking around can take a bit more time though. I noticed that The Enemy are scheduled to not fully overlap with Wolf Alice, so you could catch part of their set too.   You can walk around anywhere with a beer, with most bars the usual mass market stuff, but one nice craft ale tent, back of the arena near the Leadmill stage. A main meal will set you back £10-15, but cheaper snacks also available. Expect a pint to be £7-8. Possibly a bit more this year as prices everywhere are increasing.   It's fairly easy to get to from the town centre using the tram, although can be busy at peak times / very busy at curfew. If you like a walk, it's approx 40 mins to Kelham Island (lots of indy venues) and probably an hour to the city, or catch an Uber. There will be loads of 'fringe' music events on around the city right through the weekend. Most are free. Have a wonderful trip, enjoy the festival, and your stay in our city!
