I reckon they could sub beneath the Prodigy - got quite a bit of crossover between the two fan bases too.

The Prodigy

Enter Shikari

A Day To Remember

The Vaccines

Foo Fighters

You Me At Six

Twin Atlantic

Major Lazer

Florence & The Machine

Foals

Courteeners

I'm genuinely really excited at the thought of it already :)

Same here man :D

Arena's don't necessarily mean sub. ATL, YMAS, ADTR, Gaslight Anthem can all attest to that.

I think they'll move up to third but sub is a bit of a leap.

Fair enough, but at least they're willing to stop playing intimate venues so they're on their way there

Why the hell are they trying to sell out some of them lol.

Why are you putting Shikari above ADTR?, ADTR have already done Ally Pally, Motorpoint Cardiff and the BIC.

I'd say Shikari were more popular than ADTR. Shikari could probably sell out any of those venues if they went for it- but they seem to prefer the smaller, slightly more intimate venues.

I'd say Shikari are slightly bigger. That ADTR tour was only 5 dates while this Shikari one has more than that and includes far more arenas.

But they're going for it :P

I'm glad to see them going for it to be honest. I'll be living in Nottingham by the time that Nottingham Arena date comes around so I might head down myself.

Shikari playing Victoria Warehouse has surprised me tbh. Dental (Or anyone else) Do you know what it's capacity it is for concerts as I haven't a clue?

In terms of their standing at R&L I don't think the tour will change anything, their crowd last year was small so I can't see them being pushed up as subs and I stand by my thinking they'll stall at the 3rd down/NME headline level they're at now. Ignoring Wombats completely here, Ally Pally gig is a fair level for NME headliners & that would suit them well.

If I had a choice of headliners that will possibly be around next year I'd choose Slipknot, Foo Fighters and Foals.

Slipknot

Deftones

Frank Turner & The Sleeping Souls

Foo Fighters

Imagine Dragons

The Vaccines

Foals

Disclosure

Enter Shikari

I agree with that one below, I think any realistic shot needs Flo in there. Deftones subbing dazzles me, The Vaccines one down as well. People don't even know their still a band lol, let alone they have new album.

    • A question has crossed my (questionable) mind;   Has the size of the Green Fields remained the same as other areas have expanded / been added on to, since say, 2014 (the last time that I attended)? Are they 'lost' within, or well attended?    That's actually two questions. The second one just slipped in at the end by taking advantage of my lack of means to stop it.
    • I'd say the same about Kylie.    Annie would be awesome, Duran not so much, and on the issue of them wanting a beanie slot, that probably rules out a fair few others who I think would fit the bill very well... and are legitimately more entitled to a headline, and/or too expensive.   Was just about to suggest Chaka Khan, but see @Gnomicide has beat me to it!    What about someone like Bryan Ferry?
