Yeah I think drowningfish has put their prediction in. Just guesswork right now but still interesting to judge clashes from it I suppose.

Yeah I put it in just get the ball rolling + have fun judging clashes from vague educated guesses

Don't think these will be far off although there must be circa 20 (?) still to be announced for the big five stages...

I hope a number are on the Friday as oh that latest prediction only really SFA interest me

I'd assume closer to 60, surely?

There's normally 24 on both pyramid and west holds and somewhere around 30 on each of the other three stages, right?

That's true, will teach me not to type in a rush. Can't be 24 on the Pyramid though can there, unless there's a different number playing each day?

24 divided by 3 is 8

edit: Sorry for the bluntness, didn't mean to be a math-nazi

Yeah i've found that there'll be 40-50 acts to be announced on the main 5 stages.

And that most of them will be on the Other stage, Park stage and West Holts.

And a good 30 of them will be lower acts that you might have never heard of

That latest remark will teach you not to do math in a rush. It works out as eight acts a day over Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

If Wills was correct:

Friday..

Motorhead > Jon Hopkins > SFA

Saturday..

DFA1979 > Dance Village for a couple of hours > Suede or Mothership

Sunday..

Lionel > GAP.... > FFS > Future Islands

Just from the line up of what we know there, it has enough to keep me entertained

I really don't want Suede to headline the John Peel on Saturday because I'm one of those rare people who's a big fan of both Suede and Kanye West.

Edit: Didn't mean for that to sound so 'special-snowflake', I just want them on the Other stage

RTJ subbing John Peel would be a bit annoying having to miss the start of Foos. Hoping they're a slot or two lower.

Would have originally guessed at 3rd down, but just going by the other acts playing that day/stage etc. they seemed to fit better subbing than anyone else we know of.

Most of the bands we're predicting for high JP slots are similar sizes so hard to say who's going to sub. I did have Catfish in there before realising they'd need an indie/rock band somewhere on the Saturday night.

I've put it all in the clashfinder!

Made a few little changes for the bits that I didn't think fitted.

Btw where were you thinking of putting The Fall?

Yeah you find that John Peel's order is bloody hard to peg - I remember Wild Beasts being four down or so being a bit surprising - so I'm hoping that when they're juggling them about, DFA and RTJ fall lower than top two.

Both of these 3rd down and acting as my subs before Foos and Kanye would be ideal. Wouldn't necessarily see them, but there's not much around 2/3rd on the big stages taking my fancy right now (from what we're predicting).

Probably in that 'The Fall' slot on Friday JP :P

LOL oops i missed that bit

From the look of it I think we'll be in for the most surprises with the West Holts bookings this year

    • Not necessarily but it should be, Download have a habit of messing it uo when others get the bookings on point. Good Charlotte I doubt are playing 3rd down and that too 3 that day while dreamy is too strong. I think you'd have one another day to help sell weekend tickets. I also doubt Papa Roach play.
    • Here's a bit of a wild stab, few placings may be off, and for all I know half of these won't actually be touring next year, but screw it, it's a bit of fun   Pyramid: Sabrina Carpenter, Phoebe Bridgers, TBA (Florence + The Machine), Garbage, The Last Dinner Party, Interpol, Alex James Britpop Classical Other: Chase & Status, Teddy Swims, Clairo, The Kooks, Zara Larsson, Kingfishr, Sports Team, Orbital West Holts: Robyn, Baby Keem, De La Soul, Deltron 3030, JID, Dua Saleh, kwn, Daniela Latila Woodsies: Bonobo, Darkside, TBA (Tame Impala), Laufey, Warmduscher, Wednesday, The Lottery Winners, The Royston Club, Florence Road Park: Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Slayyyter, The Cardigans, Skye Newman, Kelly Lee Owens, Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers   Pyramid: Harry Styles, The xx, Richard Ashcroft, The Pogues, Jessie J, Sigrid, Travis Other: Rosalia, Sombr, Mitski, Alex Warren, Holly Humberstone, Cat Burns, Pale Waves, Yard Act West Holts: Basement Jaxx, Elyanna, Clipse, L’Imperatrice, Nation of Language, Jim Legxacy, Yazmin Lacey, RIP Magic Woodsies: Suede, Chvrches, Bleachers, MUNA, The Cribs, Keo, Bleech 9:3, The Lilacs Park: MARINA, Magdalena Bay, Jacob Alon, TBA (Lily Allen performs West End Girl), Getdown Services, Isaac Wood, Snail Mail, Madra Salach Pyramid: Sam Fender, Hozier, David Byrne, Cher, Obongjayar, David Gray, Billy Ocean Other: Doja Cat, Deftones, Addison Rae, Ren, Viagra Boys, Maisie Peters, The Reytons, Hard Life West Holts: Kano, Thievery Corporation, Angine De Poitrine, Thee Sacred Souls, Brooke Combe, Sasha Keable, Master Peace Woodsies: The Wombats, Metronomy, Geese*, Dry Cleaning, EsDeeKid, Sienna Spiro, Cowboy Hunters, Radio Free Alice Park: Big Thief, Laura Marling, MJ Lenderman, Richard Dawson, Oklou, Maruja, Dead Dads Club, Ratboys   *There's always one band booked for Woodsies that ends up being massively under-billed and gets shut down really early. They'd be better off playing somewhere like Other sub, but I could see the G getting them to play a smaller stage while it's still possible
    • Another Kraftwerk one for me today, as just back from seeing them.
