This would be super helpful. Until late last night I wasn't going to the festival so haven't been keeping up to date with this thread. Nabbed an Oxfam spot yesterday so well happy. If not i'll probably just head to my favourites The Glade, IICON & Genosis and see what's going on of a night. Mostly into techno and progressive stuff, maybe a bit of psytrance if there is any this year.

Have you got your shifts yet - i.e. do you know what night(s) you can be out and about. That makes it easier to find stuff for you. If you like psytrance, then you're pretty much restricted to Sunday night at the Glade Dome. I'll be in position A 😉.

No I won't get them until I arrive unfortunately. I'm more into techno and the proggy stuff really but like a bit of psytrance too. Haven't really looked at the line up as I wasn't going to be the until last night, I know Dave Seaman's playing the Glade Dome though and The Egg are on the Glade stage so I hope to be able to see them.

Lots of good techno around, but it's a little all over the place! Paranoid London on The Levels on Thursday should be brilliant. IMOGEN in Wow, also Thursday.

Lovely little double header of Helena Hauff into Daniel Avery on Saturday (Lonely Hearts) with some anjuna style froggy stuff from Ben Bohmer earlier that evening, if you're not at a headliner. Friday is techno on the Genosys Bus (hoping the sound is improved), and the legendary Underground Resistance (albeit with only one member playing live) on IICON is a set I don't think I can miss!

An embarrassment of riches outside all of that too.

Thanks for that Ben. I had seem DA/HH and Underground Resistance were playing so I was definitely intending to get to them shift permitting. I'll aim for the others too.

I'm intending to spend my Saturday night at Lonely Hearts catching Bomber, Cooper, Hauff and Avery, what an unbelievable lineup that is! After that I'm going to try and catch the end of Confidence Mans DJ set in Stonebridge followed by Barry Cant Swim. A lovely run in my opinion.

Nice! Good luck getting into ConMan! I have to say that it's not for me, but it will be RAMMO, I'm sure!!

And yes, that Bohmer to Avery run is pretty spectacular. So excited finally to feel that there's a whole (half) night for me in Silver Hayes. I genuinely feel that the area is going to look and feel entirely revitalised this year.

Who will you be catching in Silver Hayes?

Thursday: Paranoid London, Ki/Ki, probably IMOGEN and maybe VTSS (but more likely will scoot to Hodge on IICON)

Saturday: Ben Bohmer, Max Cooper (probably, as I'll be up there. Like him a lot, but have seen his A/V show reasonably recently), Helena Hauff, Daniel Avery*

* Though I have a real soft spot/love for Radioactive Man's electro, so might do a little half and half in Wow too. And, I need to leave a bit early to get down to Truth for Scalping.

That positioning of Scalping is very annoying ... couldn't it just've been half an hour later?

How busy do you think this will be? I've actively avoided silver hayes for 10+ years but really keen for Ben Böhmer/Max Cooper and would hate not be able to get in

For more proggy type stuff as well as Dave Seaman it is:

Out of all those probably looking forward to TIBASKO (Sunday night around 12am at The Hive who play, prog, breaks and trancey stuff) and Man Power (who seems to play both driving and dreamy house) most as only just discovered both of them recently. And Kolsch could be a moment although how how many people will be there when he ss up against "Reg" remains to be seen.

Lonely Hearts is open, so there's no 'getting in'. Swim like a salmon up the side and into Position A and you'll be grand!

As it stands on the Sat night, my mates are all going to the SE Corner for D&B. (Im not a fan)

I will be at the Lonely Hearts Club. Leftfield finish at 22:15 at the Park, then Im legging it to the Silver Hayes.

Sat night Lonely Hearts Club has the best electronic run of the festival in my opinion.

What's Avery's set? is it a DJ set

No reason to think not. On his tour he's clearly indicated when shows are live of DJing. And other acts in Silver Hayes are designated as live. So, yup, 99.9% sure he's DJing straight after Helena.

I wonder how easy/difficult it would be to drop one of his gauze curtains for the set, to allow the visual mapping...? I guess the physics of getting that set up perfectly for projection might be tricky in a festival set-up...

Ben

Seems i was wrong on this, he is totally planning to do the gauze thing.
