Not a lot of dance acts have been announced today have they? So all the Sonic and Glade acts to come?

Absolutely. I think only one, Carl Cox was on from last year's first poster. Maybe one from sonic? Loads more to come..See last year's listings.

So the line up is pretty good, however not as many wow names for me as previous years, LCD stole that for the next few I think. Super keen for RTJ, The xx, Thundercat, Joe Goddard, Sasha, DJ Shadow, (Bonobo), Chic (again, don't see it topping last time though) and will probably go to Loyle Carner after catching 2 of his songs on Saturday, and a couple more I'll drift through.

But that just leaves so much more room for exploring the beats.

Hoping for but maybe asking too much for some...

Daniel Avery (not on arcadia please...), Hercules & Love Affair, Factory Floor, Nicolas Jaar (Exclusive at Field Day..? :( ), Talaboman, Black Madonna, Auntie Flo (just throws such a good party regularly here in Glasgow town), Daphni, Four Tet, Lindstrom, Omar Souleyman, Clap! Clap!, Aphex, Henrik Schwarz and so so so many more... May get none!

Henrik Schwarz pleeeeaaaaseeee

As tomorrow is balance payment opening, with therefore the re-sale emerging over the horizon, are there any members of the Electronica/Dance community needing help to get a ticket?

I have another friend that I may be trying for, but would dearly love to help someone from these happy pages get to the Farm.

Let me know

:)

Unfortunately we missed out in the normal sale so are in the hands of the resale gods :(  Any help is much appreciated although we are a group of four which I guess makes helping us awkward...

There will be a LOT of beers bought for anybody who does help though :)

Just purchased my ticket for Cocoon opening party at Amnesia in May. I am at a mates wedding on the white isle 2 days later..... could be interesting!

I've got my eye on the new Carl Cox night. Not been in privilege in years either.

Two things:

1. given your avatar, check out my most recent post in the bonobo thread

2. If I can help, I certainly will. Given that you're a four, I might reserve commitment until seeing if anyone else here needs, say, a single ticket (i.e. someone with less help than you have, Morgs!), but if it all falls nicely, I'm there for you!

@FloorFiller - are you ticketless?

I'm ticketless for the first time since i frist went in 1997. If I'm not lucky in the resale i can only wish you all go to Sasha and digweed because it will be an incredible set. Enjoy x

    • Another one from Sheffield DocFest this weekend, Earth Wind & Fire docu, directed by Questlove. Sensational archive footage, contributions from band members, family, plus a lot of very big fans (Stevie, Lionel, Flea, the Obamas) and a warts n all assessment of the genius / flawed human being that was Maurice White. Also, I never realised he started out as a jazz drummer with Ramsay Lewis. Well worth a watch.
    • In a 6,800-word Substack essay, external, the Clacton MP said "anti-white racism was embedded into the state", and that legislation aimed at equality was a form of "social cleansing"   .https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdjkd4mp93zo   The privileged white c**t hasn’t got a clue what racism is.
    • BBC iPlayer: Will serve as the main hub for past sets, including both recent hits and iconic archival gems. You can explore the BBC iPlayer to watch curated compilations, "Best of Glastonbury" recaps, and on-demand replays of historic headline performances. [1, 2, 3] TV Broadcasts (BBC Two & BBC Three): The channels will air dedicated compilation shows. Leading up to the weekend, you can watch archive programming such as Glastonbury: 70s Legends, 80s Legends, and 90s Legends on BBC Two. [1] Radio & BBC Sounds: Pop-up Glastonbury radio stations on BBC Sounds will feature non-stop coverage, including exclusive mixes and huge sets from past years
    • Got HBO Max to watch football so watched One Battle After Another which is a great film and deserves its awards and then rewatched Magnolia and that is a flipping amazing film...so much in it. (also rewatching Angels In America series which is also amazing).
