Sasha and Digweed on Saturday would be phenomenal.

I hope they get the slot that Public Service Broadcasting did two years ago. It was brilliant there with everyone else off at Kanye etc!

Or later, maybe. I do wish The Glade would run good stuff later than they do - no doubt noise restrictions come in etc.

Also - remind me how confident we are that Bonobo self-confirmed? I'm pretty certain that he did and I've got nothing to worry about, but he is conspicuous in his poster-absence...

I'm presuming Boys Noize are going to be one of the headliners in Silver Hayes? I can't see any other reason they'd be on the poster

He has said he is playing on Arcadia, saw his live show at Sonar last year and it was brilliant, so not sure if he will be doing Arcadia DJ set in addition to a live thing?

alex (just the one guy!) is probably playing high up ish in sonic i'd have thought? he could do a DJ or a live. I will probably be there for old times sake! Last time he played, he was on that stage near glade they set up for an anniversary of something.... i forget what it was called. It was pretty good! but he played saturday night headline hours rather than late night.

edit: it was called spirit of '71

Sasha and digweed are in the glade (as per their twitter) - hopefully Saturday vs Foo Fighters

prefer them against radio head, but to be honest it doesn't matter who is playing when I will be at this gig

I saw the live show at Dour last year and it was mostly great, but tailed off at the end trying to get all atmospheric. All I've ever known from Boys Noize is heavy, heavy beats, so I wasn't expecting to be leaving feeling quite calm.

He was awesome that night! Think it clashed with The Rolling Stones, but I went for Nas > Boys Noize and I regret nothing. Best Nas show I've seen and Boys Noize was mental.

Hmm interesting.

Also unsurprisingly, Joe Goddard is playing live as well as a couple of dj sets across the weekend

Looking forward to that. Always found the Two Bears mixing a bit plodding, but like what I hear of One Bear live...

Right, Team, get me up to speed as I've been really busy at work today, so only dipping in and out of the eFests madness which is so huge as to be impossible to keep up with!

Where are we with The Common today? Are we still anticipating something? I went onto their twitter feed and can only see one tweet earlier marking the poster, and the previous before that being 171 days ago! Have I missed something...? Are we on for something? Site plan update would be mega-exciting...

I know there's not too much love for DnB in this thread, but if Noisia do their live show that'll be pretty fucking ace.

I mean usually their live show is billed as Noisia "Outer Edges". I can't really see them being on the poster and them not doing a live set, but it is odd that they haven't billed it like they usually do

Hot Chip are doing a Frequencies Of The Past series of sets at Lost Village -basically a retrospective of the music they love which I wouldn't mind seeing at Glastonbury. Hopefully they'll tip up a few more times.

Nada from the Common as of yet. News of the larger Temple would  be ace and if they can throw in a couple of names even better :)

As great as the eFests meet up is, shall we organise a mini Electronics/Dance meet for one of the acts in the early hours?

I've mentioned this before, but realise that not everyone is so keen on meet ups as people worry about wasting their precious festival time lumped with nerdy internet losers.

All I can say is that I'm fucking cool, fucking fun to be with and can pick up a hint to piss off from miles away! So I'm absolutely up for this. As I've said before, I camp with a really nice bunch, pretty much none of whom are dance-heads like me, so having at least one or two people to have fun with would be ace.

Easy either way, but very happy to sort something as we get closer to June...

:)

Same here. Not all my mates like to see some of the dance acts I'm interested in or stay up particularly late.

Definitely up for arranging something nearer the time.

Good luck to people who are coherent enough to be able to meet people at a specific place at a specific time after midnight. I don't even remember to go and see acts - I get very distracted.

I usually pick one main person I want to see and see how the night goes from there. But I agree, with the crowds and distractions it can sometimes be difficult.

I am, pretty much, the polar opposite of you, Untz! My night times are based on the same military precision as my daytimes. It's the only way to ensure my OCD is placated and I get to see EVERYTHING!

Yes! I have a lot of sympathy for this. In 2015 I pretty much didn't see a single band on my list because I am so easily distracted - it's a massive sensory overload for me and I struggle to keep on track (but in a good way).

But I'll be having fun elsewhere so I won't be missing out too much. Might even be having more fun than I would have been. Your military style planning would kill me.

Oh, I'm just very drunk.

    • Yep, honestly this seems like the most likely option right now.
    • Agree. Also there was a lot more crossing over between stages. I know they need to put the cure, the xx and Gorillaz on the main stages but if they could have put your Blood Orange, Big Thief, Baxter Dury on Cupra and Occident with Jade and Pinkpantheress on the main stages, it would have been a massive improvement.
    • 100% THIS! I haven't quite been able to put my finger on it, but I think you've just nailed why I didn't enjoy this year as much as usual. In last years edition, the likes of Slowdive or Big Thief would have had evening slots at Cupra or Occident, instead of being shoved on to the main stages during the day. Apart from the very biggest acts (ie The Cure, the pop headliners), most performances at Mordor just lack that special "wow, I'm so lucky to be here" feeling that I remember from the Jesus Lizard and Anhoni sets that you've mentioned.  Sidenote: I wonder if there's a decent chunk of ticket holders that gravitate towards Mordor simply because it's the biggest stage, without really caring who's playing at that time, thus the increased (and incredibly noticeable) yapping.
