If work quietens down a bit tomorrow, I may well go out there. Hopefully I will remember some of these names being bandied about of 'popular beat combos', and see them in June.

It will be packed - a few might stay away on principle (though as we know no details of what really happened not sure what principle they are going on).

I will make my decision based on the lineup when it is out.................... though The Who are in my top ten of ""never seen, want to see"" so that gives a bit of a clue!

I don't know many songs from Weller. If he played stuff from the jam and the style council, I would be happy... But he won't. Mostly he played his recent solo songs. Not fussed about either of them but like Matty, I will see what's happening. I may leave early and get some kip before holiday.

i'm mildly Kanye-curious, but in all probability it'll be 0/3 for me at the Pyramid. it's the exception rather than the rule that there's a headliner i like on there, but i've seen 4 in my last 5 festivals so that's not a bad return really.

In a festival situation he might play some more crowd pleasers I hope. Have not seen him live so can't comment on how he is but some people on the Who / Weller thread seem to think it's a deadful booking.
