Hello all,

Ashamed to admit I've been in bed with hangover since Friday and have had no energy to catch up until now(Taking a bus with 54 other football fans for an away game wasn't the best idea)

Back at work and feeling slightly more alive at least.

As if any more proof were needed that football is bad for you.

Have no idea where in Bristol, a troublemaker-friend wants me to come with to see Dana Fuchs on Monday and he thought I might as well go ahead and buy a tent and stuff so I don't have to bother when I get there before the festival.

Ah - I asked as there is this on next weekend in Bristol and, weather and work permitting, we (and hopefully some others) may well be there!!

Happy Bank Holiday, everyone!

I've had a smashing day so far, enjoying the feeling of having completed the weekend on duty at work. In now time honoured fashion, the what have I been up to today report consists of:

- A run first thing. Was nice and sunny, but not too warm. 6.22 miles, decent pace!

- Walk in the woods and fields with Orlagh. I SOOOO love these couple of weeks when the bluebells are at their peak. Makes you smile and feel happy to live in Britain

- Created a PowerPoint presentation for the Under 14s Rugby awards on Saturday. I do it with three nominations for each category (Most Improved Player, Player of the Year and the coveted Players' Player!), announce them and then get a foot-stomped 'drum-roll' before announcing the winner. I play the caricatured master of ceremonies to within an inch of its cliched life!

- Been in the garden this afternoon clearing out some shrubs and stuff under the expert supervision and interaction of green-fingered Mrs Ben, including the removal of one particular triffid that would fit the description of a horticulturally tenacious bastard!

- Now just catching up on the ol' forum before playing a bit of uke later and then, who knows.

How is everyone? Have you all had good days, enjoying the good moods of the weather gods before they get a bit miffed tomorrow and send some r@!* our way?

Ben

x

Evening. All, what a boring day at work today. 2 alarm bells but thankfully just fighting amongst themselves so no injuries to staff... For a change! I hate bank holiday weekends at work!! Nice little early shift tomorrow with building in the afternoon again. Life is pretty damn lovely isn't it? Driving home I pretended I was in a simulator and the trees coming towards me were in 3D, made me appreciate them a lot more!!

Evening everyone. I have had a lazy day today. Apart from a quick walk to town for some shopping, I have watched snooker, youtubed some bands I don't know very well, and successfully avoided doing the washing up :) Need to get moving soon though, as I'm on bedtime story duty, then making dinner.
