They seem to be just a poor man's diluted Crystal castles or The knife. Can't believe people are lapping this shit up like it's the fresh in any way.

They're not original but i do like her voice. Not heard the best reports about them live and they clash with just about everyone so doubt i'll end up seeing them...

I was quite tempted tbh - a more together and purposeful The Knife, and less batshit showoff crazy than crystal castles whose moments of genius kept being eclipsed by whackery

worried about the live thing though, such music requires precision - but I worried about Hurts and they were microsecond perfect so yea - tempted

i really like them on record (just good pop music isn't it?) but think i'll be giving them a miss at Glastonbury as they're right in the middle of clash-central (although who knows - might end up staying and watching them after Wild Beasts if i can't be bothered moving)

thought they'd have a high-ish Other slot tbh so was surprised to see them in the JP. will get one of the biggest crowds in that tent for the weekend i think

I hate 80s sounding synth music and I hate pop music, so I really should hate Chvrches, but I think they sound brilliant. Determined I'll either see them at Glastonbury or T in the Park, probably T as there are less options there

Maybe I'm getting too old or my taste have become to refined and specific, heard it all before kindda thing. This music just totally bores me!

I'll be taking a wander down to the Glade and then off to catch Four Tet instead.

I’ll probably see them because although they’re my least favourite of the clashing acts, they work best for me in terms of timing and location. I quite like them and all I really know them from is live videos, so I’m not worried about that.

They're amazing live, one of the best I've ever seen, they don't come across too good on videos though however when you're there they're fantastic

Highlight of the weekend for me. Maybe flavour of the moment, but I'm enjoying them a lot.

Tunes are so catchy, and it helps having a fit bird on vocals obvs

They are excellent live, will be awesome in a tent with some atmosphere too. She does sound weak when you see videos of them live, but it sounds fine when you're actually there. I think they have the potential to be huge with some more coverage of things like Glastonbury, some songs on adverts and a second album as good as the first.

I like 'em. Their debut is good for what it is - innocuous synthpop with flowing cutesy vocals. It's gonna be bloody rammed but I'll be there for Wild Beasts, so hoping to get a decent spot.

They make very good pop bangers. True, they aren't the most innovative thing under the sun, but everything doesn't need to do something new. Besides, new and good are not the same thing, some bands try new stuff and are shit, some bands do something that's been done a million times over and are great. Just enjoy it for what it is, bloody good tunes. I don't think I'll see them though, down to clashes and the fact they didn't impress me at all when I saw them in Manchester last year, I'll stick to the album and their numerous great covers on Soundcloud.
