Sorry, seriously, there's some in the Greenpeace field (solar powered) and there's allegedly some in family camping.

I don't think the GP ones are open at 6am!

Not sure about the other ones.

Best times obviously are later on when things are happening.

Always crazy queues for the showers, and I think the worst time to go for a shower is in the morning. Probably best to go mid-afternoon when people are out and about.

Remember seeing the daily counter board for male and female showers last year, females at about 320 and males at about 80! Just goes to show that men don't give a shit how bad they smell. xD

I've never had a shower at Glastonbury. I keep a pair of shorts on, and get someone to pour water over me after i've lathered up my man boobs, pits and various other areas. Works ok for me, feel great after it!

Normally do my feet separately as they can be a pain and get a bit of a mess.

Showers at the Kidz Field. Queues are fucking crazy post 9am. Either go very early or leave it till very late. Better things to be doing than queuing for a shower for 3 hours. You dont need bring anything with you. They have towels there.

And none of this "I don't shower" bollocks please. Have a fucking shower! Walking around with Betty Swollocks all weekend.

You filthy animals.

If you get to the showers in the Kidz field at about 6-6.30 you will see a long cue coming out of the field. The shower Block is just inside to the left. Don't be put off though as they hold the cue by an outside fence whilst crew get in there first before they open it out to everyone else at 7pm, then the cue goes down quite rapid. Anytime after about 7.30 and your screwed for at least a couple of hours whilst people join on the end of the original cue, so to speak.

I've been once down to the showers... that was my first year. Now I use ye olde faithful bucket wash. Collapsible bucket from poundland...and my sister's new tent with massive porch aka the wet room... done

Def use the Greenpeace ones, go down there early and grab a ticket, then go back for your alloted time. If you get there nice and early you can normally grab a slot within the next 1hr, giving you just enough time to wander off and have breakfast.

Be aware though, you cannot use your own shampoo/shower gel in the greenpeace showers as they drain directly into the nearby stream. You will be given some eco-friendly stuff that works just fine. And don't try and sneak your own stuff in, they come down hard on it as water pollution is measured and taken into account come festival license renewal.

The Greenpeace ones are by far the best, IME. Turn up at about 5pm and there's zero queue, clears the head from the morning session, gets you in the mood for the evening revelries and stops you stinking like a goat. Winner all round.

i've never taken a shower at a festival before, but if i manage to stay up all night on the Friday i may venture to the Green Fields and have one before i go to sleep! although that's wishful thinking and i'll most likely be far too fucked to remember to do that. would be nice though

The shower queues are ok as long as you go very early or mid afternoon. I've been to Glasto 5 times and taken 2 showers, once about 6.30am and the other 3pm and didnt have to queue for too long. Walked past them lots of times at other times of the day and there has been some horrible queues

    • TOP 10 acts (top 5 in bold😞   Blood Orange (ciutat)   Guitarricadelafuente   Oklou - Looks like I'm capable of enjoying music in the rain after all, just not the whole night.   Rilo Kiley   The Cure   Jade   Depresión Sonora   Gelli Haha (Parc del Forum) - Her music never really clicked with me. Until I saw her live.   MARINA   Six Sex (ciutat) - I was shocked how supersmall the venue was and that almost everyone (except for me) knew every word of every song (including the ones that were released this weekend!).   Honorable mention:   Ashnikko - missed the first 15 minutes (because of Gelli Haha) and I'm not really a fan of her music, but the show was an absolute blast.
    • Totally agree about PinkPantheress stage choice. 'Luckily' for me, one of my main targets, fakemink, was absolutely awful, meaning that I left early and was in a surprisingly good spot at Cupra before it got totally packed.
    • As many said before, not my favourite Primavera. sh*tty weather is something I'm not really used to when enjoying music. Poor communication (more than 1 hour long radio silence during the worst rain) didn't help, but the main problem was me. I decided to leave the venue after things seemed to be getting back to normal. Massive Attack were supposed to play again (with Hymn of the Big Wheel back on the setlist!) as were all other artists on the smaller stages (including Fcukers with one my favourite albums of the year). FOMO was at an all-time high. However, after 4 hours in the rain, I had to admit to myself that I'm not cut out for this. I wasn't even that soaked (water-proof jacket worked). I was just fed up with the rain, wind and cold and wasn't able to enjoy music anymore.   Also, they should stop ignoring the growth of some artists between signing them up and their actual performance. Both PinkPantheress and Ninajirachi sets were ruined for me by completely inadequate stage choice.   However, I felt very much the same way after the 2022 edition and have thoroughly enjoyed all subsequent editions. So I'm still buying early bird tickets for 2027 and hoping this was a hiccup not the start of a downward trend.
    • I will definitely be buying a 2027 early bird pass, partially because of the priority reservation privileges for the Ciutat sets. Hopefully the organization will take action to improve upon this year's failings. Because I thought the free water options and sound quality were an improvement over last year, so clearly they can actually implement positive changes.   I also hope all the douchebag chompers get in the sea, cause I was more bothered by them than in the past few years.   Highlights: The Cure, Ninajirachi, Knocked Loose, Current 93, Blood Orange.
    • Similar feelings to a few others on here. Not my personal favourite edition but a long way from giving up on it. Felt overcrowded at times and there are just too many people there that don't seem to like music that much! Hardly went to main stages which was the plan. Highlights Ralphie Choo, rusowsky, Gorillaz, Geese, Gelli Haha, The Sophs, PinkPantheress, Dijon. Accommodation booked for next year. Thanks for your company and comments over the past year.
