Suprised at the reviews on here. Mate of mine went last night and said the sound was shockingly bad and he nearly left after an hour. He did say it got a bit better as the night went on but it was pretty awful. He's been to see him a few times and I trust his judgement. The review in the Mail is good but the comments section is in agreement with my mate.

Who spends £70-£140 on a gig without bothering to do even the most basic of research (newsflash, he's going through a rocky jam phase) then leaves after 40 minutes. Money to burn.

I remember when I went to see Neil Young and Crazy horse in Newcastle last year- there were similar reviews on their local paper website, with people complaining about his long guitar jams. What did people expect from Crazy Horse?! Do people not check up a little on what bands are playing these days before they shell out so much money?

Not sure what happened in Birmingham but a set like last night at Glastonbury would probably be the most legendary ever. Hit after hit, quality musicianship all round and a performer who is loving what he is doing right now. Best gig ever.
