mattgimmeshelter
It's also completely manufactured as the girls aren't even metal fans as you can probably tell.

lightning1000
I think he's saying 10 year old j-pop artists don't. Although they might.
Muppetmark
you don't have to be a metal fan to write and perform metal. I'm pretty sure they are, however, metal fans, as has been indicated in interviews. And you're suggesting what, that teen girls don't listen to trve kvlt genres like metal?
Yellow_Fellow
they had never listened to metal before their label told them to do this.
dentalplan
Yeah I've seen that interview - it isn't as easy as simple one way translation. It's either that or they'd never played it - I'll check with my friend who translated again

jump
It's fair enough to mock them for being gimmicky/shit/posers but if their outfits are considered sexualised than I have a very different idea to what sex is.
Dead throne
What? we all fronted metal bands at 10 years old dressed in sexualized school girl outfits before knowing what metal even was? I didn't realise it was so common
justanothername
I read somewhere that at a certain age they have to leave (it is when they graduate from the Japanese education system) so have been a few members already before the current ones. However things like this are normal for the J-Pop industry and it is just part of their machine.
kipper64
Therapy?, Atari Teenage Riot, Bo Ningen, Trash Talk, Canterbury, Lostalone, Bleed From Within, Dregen, TRC, Beastmilk, Malefice and Glass City Vice all added today for Bohemia. Proper good announcement for myself. Massively pleased Atari teenage Riot are playing on Friday and Trash talk on sunday in amongst Gallows and Bronx is going to be great! the wonderwhy
Yeah it seems like the equivalent of British parents letting their six year old do some shit Susan Boyle cover on Britain's Got Talent to me, nothing wrong with it at all. Its exactly the type of booking you want at a festival though Edited April 9, 2014 by MattDavies__
luckysalt
Im not going to Soni, but I recommend Trash Talk for those who are, saw them at Download few years back and they were fanatastic. Be nice if they get added to BST on the Friday, although im not even sure any more acts are being added to that.
gary1979666
Do you reckon Therapy? will clash with Metallica? I think last time they played they did Bohemia after the main headliners had finished.
kipper64
Nah they won't. Will be on before Metallica afaik. There's plenty of lighter acts in Bohemia that day that could easily play during Metallica.
5co77ie
you don't think they'll be really late like the headliners in Bohemia usually are then?

kipper64
It's never set in stone by order, they kind of jumble it about depending on genres and clashes I think. Bohemia headliners in 2010 ended up playing before headliners, and 2011 they had some of them after the headliner and some of them before (Four Year Strong clashed with Bill bailey in 2011, Gallows and FFAF with Skunk Anansie and Motley Crue in 2010 etc...). But Sisters of Mercy and Killing Joke were after headliners. Just checked their facebook and Therapy claim they'll be on at 7:20pm on the Sunday as well, I imagine that's not set in stone though but looks like the provisional plan is before metallica. Sounds like they'll be clashing with Dream Theater. Edited April 10, 2014 by kipper64
gary1979666
Kip - if that turn out to be the case, then I'll be a very happy man - T? into Metallica - perfect!
