Have we all forgotten about Elbow? Or have I missed wisdom of them being somewhere else?

Pixies are likely to be Other stage headliners in my view, PSB would be a good shout for Saturday sub - Remember Scissor Sisters played before Muse, the pop / rock progression can work well (assuming it is Metallica).

It would be a big bump up for Paolo Nutini from previous billings and in spite of his size I always think of him as a 'sunshine act' - maybe third on Pyramid?

they won't sub but knobhead being on The Voice has surely propelled them back in to the public eye a bit no? i'd rather they just weren't at Glastonbury at all, but i reckon 3rd or 4th on Pyramid if they do

Surely the horrifying clip of Tom Jones and Kylie and assorted ballbags caterwauling through songs that the BBC kept playing between shows has made people plain sick of them rather than indifferent.

Pretty sure it's since that whole shitshow they've played Gorilla, for illustrative purposes, here's a list of acts playing the Gorilla soon; Our Vinyl Weighs A Ton, Epmd, Martin Hannet, Joan As Police Woman, Jamie Lenman, Scott Matthews, Everlast, Albert Hammond Jr, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. That's an unedited list of the next 10 acts lined up to play headline gigs there, the biggest of them would only get an early slot on the Other. I reckon the Kaiser Chiefs have well and truly fucked off, if I didn't know that they'd played there recently, I wouldn't even know they were still alive.

Manowar would be amazing. Did they do 'warriors of the world'? By god that would sound AMAZING coming from the pyramid speakers. There'd be about twenty people going utterly nutso, and 78,000 wondering what the hell is going on

    • If you didn't see melt banana at Apolo. Go see them at the festival. Insane.
    • Interesting, and thanks for coming back to give an update! I've seen that the second stage looks bigger than usual too, looks to be a Serious Stages - Stellar Stage from distance photos.    Seems like sizing wise stages have been scaled up somewhat this year.
    • I see its cancelled now but they did leave it really late to announce plus they are up against Kelburn Garden Party Festival not to far from the festival site.
