R&L Gig Review

No problem. Gonna do try to get it done for QOTSA this year and the Josh Homme can call me a star as well

You have to write some a reason why you nominated and then they select you, but given that QOTSA are gonna headline R&L, fanboying over them should be easy and therefore should be easy to win

Anyway, to at least my post relevant I'm seeing Drenge tonight and as they have self confirmed I'll put what I thought here

Said in the line-up thread, but The Orwells confirmed they're playing RnL last night after their thekla gig to a few people they were chatting with outside (me included).

They were really up for it, crowd was really really into it and the lead singer has great stage presence. Such a young band, can see them getting a similar slot FIDLAR got last year or maybe opening main, but that would be a bit shit.

They just finished touring with Weezer so they were obviously booked together yeah?

Read some weird reviews but that one takes the cake.

Nah, just kidding. Sort of surprised that they had a Oasis/Kasabian type crowd but then not surprised as Marr and Noel have both sung their praises, although saying that, I think there's some texture to Kasabian's work as well. Anyway, that's made me look forward to seeing Temples now after hearing stories of how crap they are live, and hearing their album.
