rush2112
No matter how much they put in, they're still boring..
Guest
they start a song, it builds up to an almighty scream from Dave. Then they do it again it's quite boring and I've seen them lots of times before they got boring
Guest
When is pre-boring roughly? I saw them a few years ago and thought they were good (at what they do). I enjoyed it and I'm not a fan or anything. They put on a decent show
Ed209
Foo fighters and Colour and Shape are essential albums of my teens and still hold up well against the best rock albums of that era.
Osama Jim Laden
Have you actually seen them live ? cause this is really what we are talking about.A band .on a stage performing to a mass audience. I'm just curious, from personal experience, how you could describe them as boring.
Amy Lawn
When the R&L headliners were trickling last year I suggested that Foos and Kasabian were shitters and we needed The Cure to have one good headliner. I got bounced right out of that thread for impertinence and wrongness. Come over here to the Glastonbury board and suggest the Foos and Kasabian are shit and The Cure are great, people toke their pipes and stroke their beards and murmur in agreement. storm
I like the Foo Fighters but have it in good source that even Kurt Cobain thought he was a massive nob.
jeffie
Yes but there are many sources that say Kurt Cobain was a massive knob too
pukkaone
The Foos playing a few songs at Strummerville would be the greatest thing ever...
DL50
They've just played every single major festival at least once in the last ten years, the sets have invariably been televised, and as such, like a lot of acts these days they have become over-exposed. I think 'boring' is the wrong word to describe them. They aren't boring live, but people are bored of them.

Osama Jim Laden
Crikey. Does something climb up your bum on a daily basis Russy, or it is it just the FF's you can't stand?
Tr234
Looking at Foo Fighters tour dates, they are playing on the 20th and the 21st of June. If they don't manage to get Prince for the Saturday, could it be the Foo Fighters? They are bringing out a new album some time this year and I think they might be touring as well. Last time they played Glastonbury was
JayBalls
I personally wouldn't mind one bit.
CHRLY
I'd love this so much. Out of interest, do people reckon they would get the usual set of 1hr45mins or a longer one? It's just cause they always seem to play for 2hrs plus wherever they play

yehbutnobut
Lord my Father, Dear God, in the name of Mary Jesus & Joseph, praise be to Allah & the prophet Muhamed, PLEASE LET THIS HAPPEN... (and it's only a matter if time before Russy wades in to tell us they're shit... again)
Nickyboy
One of the few big American acts I have never seen and still would like to see. Albums are generally patchy, but they all have 3 or 4 good uns on - makes for a splendid set when they play all the 'hits'.
TaBoosh
Good lord, Foo Fighters at Glaso again - with their set these days - would be amazing. Other or main stage?
