What time at night does the entertainment stop ?

OK! You're just asking some classic questions, that's all. If this is your first festival you're in for an absolute treat. It's the best party in the world. Try not to get over-awed by the scale of it, and the amount of stuff going on. You've already been pointed towards Tort's FAQ, read that, and there's loads of useful info on these forums too - several 'advice for first timer' type threads, for example.

Ignore em Laura, ask away, we're not all monsters!

Yes, you can take gas straighteners - although many people wouldn't bother! Don't forget you'll be walking a long way, with a lot of stuff, and you'll be out in all weathers anyway. If your hair's anything like mine, then the minute it rains it goes all frizzy again anyway! A hat and a hairband are your friend!

There's all manner of entertainment on until the very early hours, then after that there's only a couple of hours "quiet" before the madness starts all over again. Some food stalls shut at night, but there's always something you can find open. I reckon the quietest time on site is between 6am and 8am.

The problem is that it's not unknown for people on here to set themselves up a new account purely for the purposes of winding others up. And the approach tends to be very much the one you have adopted.

Read the guide, that will answer a lot of your questions.

Laura. you're bound to be scared, you are starting with the best festival in the world, and not like anything you will ever experience again

Go with the flow, don't worry too much about what you look like. Talk to random people, be nice to everyone and they will be lovely to you. It's amazing , there are thousands of people drinking and partying together and not one ounce of trouble or agro, and everyone is just having pure fun together. Everyone is different, there is no 'rules' apart from not judging each other and being nice to everyone around you

Ask any questions you want x

Here you go....

Food stalls are open most of the time, most start to close early hours of the morning, some will be open pretty much none stop! You can always get a coffee somewhere lol

Music:

Main stages stop at midnight

Smaller venues go on until 3/4

Unique venues go on all night!

*try the silent disco at least one night for a couple of hours! it is a great giggle when you take off your headphones and see the crowd dancing and singing along but no music playing!

If your looking for entertainment you will, find it in the people that go to the festival nit just the music!

The stone circle comes to life at night and is always worth a walk up to even if it is just to watch the sun come up!

At the end of the day the entertainment only stops once you leave!

    • My understanding is that the queues returning back to the UK will be much worse (up to two hours) but the queue entering Lisbon isn’t so bad. That’s just from reading a few forum posts about it though so take it with a pinch of salt!

    • World Cup 2026: What is happening with ticket prices? - BBC Sport   Sounds like Infantino has been learning from his buddy if he's running around claiming its all sold out while quietly dumping tickets below face on assorted secondary websites.
    • Mac DeMarco also cancelled
    • I'm British so it very much would apply for me.   I mean, it's a moot point as I don't have tickets so will not be in town for this, but I've heard reports of lengthy queues and given I remember Lisbon Airport having a long queue at arrivals even pre-EES when I went in 2023, I seem to guess it might be quite the wait, depending on flight paths.   Certainly, the worst I've had pre-EES was a 45 minute wait for a stamp at Valencia Airport in Spain, where 4 flights to non-EU destinations in quick succession were placed one after the other. So I can't say I'm enthusiastic about what's in store. Or you know. Maybe I'm just overthinking it.
