I saw a similar performance before he played Glasto so I was convinced his Glasto gig was going to be an embarrassment. I was wrong thankfully.

That performance last night was tough to watch. People dancing in the aisles trying to look interested. A complete cringefest. For all concerned. As were/are the Grammys in general.

It was awful.

Pharrell is out of time & tune throughout, Stevie's voice was flat & cracking like a drunken aunt on karaoke, the robots aren't doing much of anything & Nile Rodgers is just strumming away whilst grinning like a Cheshire cat. If that's what a Daft Punk live performance consists of these days, I'm glad they're not touring this album.

i absolutely hate when it shows people in the crowd dancing. the worst was Steven Tyler doing some horrible little boogie. everybody looks so wooden with fake smiles plastered on their faces in case the camera is shoved their way

They should never ever cut to the crowd for these sort of things. Fucking awful stuff from people nodding along to feign interest. (I think I remember Yoko doing some sort silly had movement at one point that really annoyed me)

I didn't think the actual performance was to bad, it's never going be bang on as they likely only got together the day before to rehearse it in the same room or something I'd imagine?
