I think I must be one of the only people on hear that would like Linkin Park to headline, though I hate the 'only play half a song' thing that they do.

I'd wouldn't too bothered if they played but I wouldn't be really happy about it. So it is a meh from me, would persuade me to buy a ticket but it wouldn't persuade me not too and have a look at the other acts

I think whichever festival gets Foo's first will do well, think every festival will be after them and all would take them. New album out and not been round for a few years so the demand will be high, it's better than having everyone at the end of the touring cycle when all excitement is gone ala AM this year.

Idk foole, the AM excitement was biggest when they were announced for T and Reading... kinda diminished as the event drew closer.

I really don't see the Foo's doing download, I'd of thought they'd want a bigger promotional event than that for their newest album.

I'd imagine if the Foo's ever did download it would be in the second year of a touring cycle, not the first.

I wonder if next year will be the year Reading dives into the 'have had the same band headline four times' pool along with Download (Linkin Park) and V (The Killers).

Who will it be?!?!?! Foos, Metallica or Red Hot Chili Peppers?!?!?!? Place your bets!

Why do I even care about this

I hear the headliners have been confirmed today...

Kitten & The Hip (greatest one hit wonder stretched for 2 hours whilst the egotistical hoebag girl singer flashes her gash at innocent first time goers)

Rod, Jane and Freddy (thrash set)

Ant & Dec (hip hop act- chip shop hip hop- Psyche in full)

DFA1979 album has leaked....it rules.

Someone online said to me... "sounds like the first". My response "if you had sex with Kaley Cuoco and it was the best ever would you change it?" He kind of appreciated my barb.

Tis the 2nd best record heard by my ruined ears all year. After a certain UK band of two who get mixed vibes on here. There's enough room in the world for DFA1979 and RB I think.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
