I'm also quite enjoying Neck Deeps album despite liking very little pop punk.

RandL Twitter have just confirmed no clash between Don Broco and PATD which is odd cos I really can't see how they won't.

Probably just a load of sets with shorter / longer times. I'd be surprised if Knife Party didn't play the same I saw at Wireless which was around 55 minutes, rather than 75 minutes like the Reading clashfinder predicts so that's a start

No idea how thats going to work, looked like a dead clash to me. But awesome! That was one of my only main clashes left.

Hopefully broco clash with ATL now so i can avoid being made to watch that pile of tripe again. Win.

Quiiiiiite a lot of competitions going round for these tickets. :ninja:

Quite a lot for Bestival and V too. Big fests seem to have taken a hammering this year while Kendal and EOTR and Green Man have done well. Just like raw prophesied.

If Reading didn't sell out this year then would that be the first year it hasn't 'sold out' in like a decade or something?

I think 06 & 08 sold out or near to? Brilliant line ups.

2010, not sure if it sold out but tickets on eBay were going for above ticket price even the day before the fest, lots people said it was due to Blink 182 playing but I don't know where they would get that from. I got a cheap ticket really early on.

And you're not sure if it sold out? :P

I wasn't sure as I had been away before the festival & went straight there on Wednesday.

A few friends thought they'd leave it late to get cheaper tickets on gumtree & ebay (which didn't work out) & they were keeping me updated by text & asking how much the touts outside were selling tix for there.

It did seem Blink & The Libertines were the bands of the weekend most people were talking about & the Saturday NME headliner/sub has been the busiest I've seen that tent except maybe Arctic Monkey's.

Don Broco are going to clash completely with Modern Baseball aren't they. I can just feel it :(

Modern Basbeball all the way man :P

But what I'm concerned about now is American Football and The Smith Street Band clashing, but I'd have to go with American Football if that happened

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
