It'll be confirmed when Placebo are added to the main stage.

Not that they're that sort of band - they were just a staple of those days.

Buying clothes in Afflek's Palace, exchanging Placebo lyrics on MSN, these were great days.

Yes they've played UK tests quite a lot but haven't played R + L in a while, and a lot of people who go to R+L might like them but not the line ups of those festivals as they're generally a lot heavier than R+L and so haven't seen them yet

No disputing that at all.

Still doesn't make it an exciting booking. They've played in the UK pretty much every year for the past decade.

A surprise, yes, but exciting, not really...

My Snapchat was me begging for Röyksopp with a copy of Melody AM so they will not be showing it

If they got Royksopp to headline NME tent like Justice in 2012, that would be perfect.

Currently listening to The Inevitable End for the 1millionth time.

I think the 'excitement' is stemming more from the fact Linkin Park/Libs/Mumford/Vaccines were expected, and Metallica are a hell of a lot better than that lot

    • Completed my 2026 survey. Put down Super Furry Animals as my most wanted for next year but suspect the moment has gone for that. Popped a big shopping list in the box for who else you would like to see. 🙂
    • Blink-182 / Avril Lavigne / Good Charlotte / Neck Deep    Lamb of God / Malevolence      System Of A Down / Five Finger Death Punch / Skindred / Godsmack   Motionless In White / Poppy      Deftones / Gojira / Knocked Loose / President    Sabaton / Amon Amarth
    • This Isaac wood news has dropped right out of left field. Great to hear he feels up to doing live stuff again    what will he play? Solo stuff , old BCNR stuff?    It’s only in November , it’s a bold booking to for someone who has previously had some struggles to come back and play a load of new stuff to crowds that big
    • Wow, Blink-182 back so soon. They’re the band they’ve never booked then. Great booking if they’ve got them.    Deftones, Papa Roach, Knocked Loose   Lamb of God   Blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Good Charlotte   Megadeth   Slipknot, Gojira, Motionless In White   All Time Low
