Yes they've played UK tests quite a lot but haven't played R + L in a while, and a lot of people who go to R+L might like them but not the line ups of those festivals as they're generally a lot heavier than R+L and so haven't seen them yet

I saw them play at Latitude this year, which is run by Festival Republic, I'm taking that as an omen.

I think the 'excitement' is stemming more from the fact Linkin Park/Libs/Mumford/Vaccines were expected, and Metallica are a hell of a lot better than that lot
