normally yes but having been in the 1975's crowd i can tell you almost everybody was getting a good spot for or getting drinnks before Dolly, nobody gave two shits about Matty and co, warming up for Lily Allen isn't quite such a thankless task

But at R&L a hell of a lot of people gave a shit about them, only backing up Yellow's point about them being entirely different festivals so no point making comparisons

Dunno why anyone is predicting the Black Keys to headline, co or not. FR aren't going to book them to headline Latitude and R&L off the same album, not a chance.

Good point. At first it seemed like of Latitude had them exclusively then there could be elevated demand but then they were announced for Glastonbury.

I think Alt-J will sub now with the O2 Arena show and whatnot.

I had Alt-J, TDCC and Frank Turner down as subs before I made it co-headliners, and out of the three I probably would have picked Alt-J and TDCC as subs, but they both would have looked stupid on that Suday.

I don't think Foos will headline next year; they did US festivals in the early summer this year so I think in 2015 they'll tour Europe through June to early July and then head back to the US

I think the issues IOW faced in 2013 were caused by ALL of the headliners doing London shows and one of them being Bon Jovi

I thought that AC/DC won the poll for what the Download forums wanted to headline, I don't recall them ever being a rumour at all. If so, wouldn't it have been mentioned in the Download section

I read yesterday there was only like three rumoured bands. Slipknot, OMAM and some other shitters from R+L this year.
