Saw Biffy at Leeds 2/3 years ago and thought they were quality. Unfortunately ( for me ) it`s been downhill since. If they drop all that crap when they are swaning about dressed as chess pieces then I would be up for seeing them. I have also never heard of Drake but I do like this talk about Blur. After last year, I think it makes sense to announce early.

Biffy - Gaga - Blur

Main:
Biffy Clyro Lady Gaga/Blur Arctic Monkeys
Paramore Vaccines/Primal Scream Jake Bugg
R1:
Deadmau5 The Prodigy Avicii
I could definitely see Brandon Flowers playing, and guess you could see Travis and Bastille on the main stage. Whether Jake Bugg will be big enough to sub or not, his new album sales will tell.

just back from stereophonics and as amazing as they were, something pissed me off!

this is a band who sold out one night at the hydro and almost sold out a second

had an unbelievable crowd reaction as they always do

have had 5 number 1 albums with another 2 in the top 10.

it got me thinking... WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY NOT HEADLINING!

its as if they've been around too long for ellis to book them as headliner but not long enough to be classed as 'legends' a la stone roses etc.

are they quite happy with subbing constantly.

its a strange world we're in.

on another note, my prediction outside the box (kinda) is calvin harris. laugh you may well do but again, sold out two nights at the hydro and a huge fan favourite. and T favourite for that matter

Naw, I'm not the biggest QOTSA fan. Don't get me wrong, I'd watch them over most festival bands but I'm away to Estonia in a few hours to watch an awesome band and go on the lash for a few days. Coming back and heading straight down to Glasgow might actually get me killed :)

Are these corporate jobs the box things in the seating like they do at rugby matches? There were only 2 in use at Alterbridge as far as I could see but when I win the lottery I might get one for my pals :)

That's the point though, if you didn't want it taken seriously you should've dubbed it a dream lineup or something...

Seriously can't see Beastie Boys playing, haven't played in the UK since 2007 and all of them were still alive then. In fact I doubt they'll ever play again really, which is incredibly sad.

Been away a few days, time to catch up.

Biffy being announced next Friday would be lovely wee birthday present from Geoff for me.

I think these folk predicting stuff are just repeating commonly believed info and passing it off as their own for attention.

Still see the headliners being Biffy, Arctic Monkeys and JT or Lady Gaga. Maybe Katy Perry or Kings of Leon.

Can't see Drake headlining. Sub or NME headliner against Biffy or AM. QOTSA to sub or NME against a pop headliner.

I saw Stereophonics last night for the 6th or 7th time, absolutely incredible. Supposedly they have another album coming out next year, if it does well perhaps they could push back up to headliner status again. As much as I love them, I'm still happy for them to be eternal subs. Stereophonics in to someone else I love always works.

As or Calvin Harris, I also think he should take a year out, release another massive album, and headline in 2015. 2015 headliners to be Florence and the Machine, Calvin Harris aaaannnddd Muse or similar.

Updated prediction for 2014:

Main stage

Biffy Clyro

Jessie J

Fall Out Boy

Justin Timberlake

Queens of the Stone Age

Primal Scream

Arctic Monkeys

Tinie Tempah

Vampire Weekend

NME

Avicii

The Prodigy

Drake

KING TUTS

Professor Green

Manic Street Preachers

Disclosure

    • I only camped in quiet camping once, it was the noisiest bit I've ever experienced! 🤣I think the problem is it's the first bit of the site you walk into and lots of people just dump themselves there! We camp in the top right of that map and find it pretty quiet, family/settlers' camping is very quiet apart from crying babies 😆
    • I didnt get mine until today so maybe they're being slow getting them out this time?  Either that or worth emailing them about it as ive seen theyve been able to sort it out according to other forums
