Hmmm I disagree he is big enough to headline, he is very popular but headlining is surely a step too far, Rihanna headlined because she is a massive act despite not being a great headliner which was taken negatively from a lot of people so I can only imagine the fallout if Bruno Mars was headlining

Bruno Mars wouldn't headline so I have no idea why that is in discussion.

The headliners will be between the following;

Biffy Clyro

Arctic Monkeys

Katy Perry (Not really sure if she were to play if she'd be lower?)

Blur

Jay Z

Lady Gaga

Kanye West

Kings of Leon

Arcade Fire

Green Day

Subs/3rds:

Elbow, Bruno Mars, Thirty Seconds to Mars, QOTSA, Paolo Nutini Justin Timberlake, Example, Plan B, Primal Scream, Vampire Weekend, Franz Ferdinand

Radio 1 headers:

Avicii, QOTSA, The XX, The Prodigy, Will.i.am, Example, Fat Boy Slim.

King Tuts headers:

Basement Jaxx, Pet Shop Boys, MGMT.

It could consist of any of these bands to be honest and I think it could be in for a good year if they get the right acts, but no idea who is more likely than others.

I agree with this, bruno is no where near big even to headline T. I know T's lineup has been slated alot but the killers are always a headliner, everywhere they go no matter what they'd headline. Rihanna, although I thought she was shit, alot of people like her, pay a shit load to see her and her day sold out. Mumford, well they headlined Glasto which i guess means they're worthy! Bruno wouldn't go down well, espcially after this year. Need a solid one T2014 do.

As you said next year there are alot of potentially headliners next year, more than what was around this year anyway.

Add in Kanye West, Kings of Leon, Blur and Arcade Fire. Maybe others.... i think headliners next year will be fairly hard to guess, there are many choices! Which this could be a good or bad thing, depending on which 3 are put together

Much as I would like to see it, I just don`t think they would even consider Arcade Fire these days. For me it`s sad but true. Saw them at Edinburgh Castle. 2 things I will always remember about that gig. They sounded amazing and there was no bar.

    • Around £400 this time, possibly slightly over.   Think what you've said sounds about right
    • Glastonbury 2025 general admission tickets cost £378.50 (including 5 booking fee ) plus £10.25 postage . what are the thoughts on next years price ? ...... im going for £395 plus postage so they can say its still under £400 ..... but I think the deposit will be £100 up from £75
    • 100% doing Knebworth, said it for a while.   Celtic, Etihad, Knebworth been signed & sealed for a number of months (I had it confirmed categorically in May). Just a case of when the dates fall, and how many.   Can't remember if I mentioned at the time, though probably not a major secret given that they were seen leaving Abbey Road on the same day - Liam/Squire album two in 2028.    Dunno where that leaves Oasis beyond 2027, though Andy is active with Ride in early 2027, so maybe it will just run alongside Oasis like that, if they carry on.

    • Dismantling that exciting young attacking team Sir Bobby had built, driving out all our creative players, and replacing them with a bunch of old crocks and has-beens ruined us. I think he's as much responsible for our first relegation as Kinnear.    And yeah this. It wasn't exhilirating football under Rafa, but he understood the club and city and gave us hope again. Him and Hughton were the sparks of hope under Ashley (+1 of Pardew's years, lets ignore the rest of them).
