russycarps
I listened to it the other day actually. It's alright... the super furry animals remain the best band to come out of wales mind.
russycarps
Plus the way you've been whinging it sounds like you wouldn't want to see this tour anyway. Actually are people expecting this to sell out straight away? I.ll be on it from nine anyway obviously but just wondered how quickly he normally sells. I've never had a problem getting a ticket before, but these are smaller venues (dunno about your scottish one, I assume it is?) so who knows. I reckon hitting refresh at five to nine should do the job though. What ticket sales site are you going to use?

russycarps
I think I had a girlfriend when it was released so I guess I was less full of repressed sexual frustration than you...
russycarps
It is such a rare occasion that you can remember exactly which albums were released when you were sexualy active? no I googled the release date to see what I was doing at the time. And it was a sow from durham in 94. Which website you get this info from? seetickets
russycarps
Yeh we are gonna get robbed. Being at an all seater gig in a shit seat is crap though, plus the cheaper ones usually sell out quickest. I think I might just go for the top end ones and treat myself. Goddammit £150 for a pair of tickets. I feel numb.

Any idea? What are you going for? Presume it's all seated, in which case I don't mind quite as much as no chance of getting in the thick of it. I've had problems twice with Cave tickets - one for that Koko show and one for the album preview February before last. However, normal solo gigs have always been pretty easy and Albert Hall is big. Hard to say really. I'll have all the usual suspects open and log in on all.

I was in the cheap seats for suede and it was piss poor. It's just hit me that you had to Google how long ago an album celebrating it's twentieth anniversary was released. how am I supposed to know it's the 20th anniversary?? russycarps
Where are the £71 ones then? Dunno, but they are going to be the seats with the best view. I'm guessing it'll be the floor seating and those swivel chairs to the side. I just dont wanna be in the circle. I will be going for the stalls if it's possible to pick, no matter what the cost. Brave Sir Robin
It's an actual queue system! Got on a few mins before 9 but still 800+ in the queue. Grrrr.

Zoo Music Girl
I got a shit ticket I think. £60.50. Ouch. Better than nothing though! Found it quite easy.
When Jokers Attack
Sold out quick though. Terrace A Row B for me. Are they decent seats do you know? Looks like you are to the side of stage which should be fine. Was at Ryan Adams in the same venue last week and I think anywhere below the balcony area would be an ideal view. I'm in the floor seating area I think. Tickets are collection from venue only on the night of the gig (according to Ticketmaster) obviously to stop touts. TheBoz
Got my old man a ticket for Nottingham. £50 for middle of the circle is decent too. Didn't bother trying Gateshead for myself in the end, which i'll no doubt regret come April

That's pretty much where I was sitting for Eels. They are decent seats, particularly the low numbers. Area Row H Seats 4-6 for me this time. russycarps
can't believe I underestimated this, not a single ticket available where were you trying for? If london, I suspect a 2nd night will be added
Brave Sir Robin
Got two of just about the worst tickets in the house for the Royal Albert Hall, very back of the Circle around to the side. I can't believe they had an actual queue in operation on their website before 9am. If Glasto did that you'd have to join it about 3 days before! Edit: Hope you're right about a second night Russy, would be very tempted to try again and hopefully flog these. CaledonianGonzo
Left my wife in charge due to being in a meeting at work, so have a spare pair for the stalls in the Edinburgh Playhouse if anyone needs them....
mgc07
I tried London and then Nottingham but spent a bit too much time trying for London. I was hoping there would be a second night in london and then I'll be on ball next time
