It would be quite foolish of V to clash chase and status with sub focus/axwell and ingrosso considering they all have the same(ish) audience. Then again I wouldn't be surprised if they did... it just seems like the kind of annoying thing they would do haha

Agreed, C&S still have themselves down to do the opposite day so maybe V will say due to unknown circumstances C&S have changed day

I saw twin atlantic at the shepherds bush in 2012 and had a great night, after a few drinks they have some proper belt along songs.. The new song however is shocking and I'm massively dissapointed

Saw them five times in the space of about a year and a half.. Last time was just as Radio 1 were starting to get wind of them and this was shown in the setlist.

really doesn't surprise me that they've gone more mainstream, always said I reckon they'd end up moving up the Reading lineup and eventually headlining.

Yeah I can easily imagine them headlining in the future, which I wouldn't mind if it didn't mean they were going to follow the mainstream route to get there, but obviously they will/are

Just had a thought, if V splashed the cash out they did for Timberlake for Coldplay I think they'd have sold more tickets by now and maybe even sold out. That would have been much more of a coupe than getting someone whos just done a big UK tour.

    • Plenty of good stuff this month. Very difficult choice, but I'm going with some of those I've listened to most (the sunny weather may also have been influential)...   1. The Coral - 388 2. Kurt Vile - Philadelphia's Been Good to Me 3. The Lemon Twigs - Look For Your Mind!   Others I've been enjoying... Laurie Anderson's live album, Broken Social Scene, Pigeon, The Black Keys, etc
    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
